I just put in 2 10's sony x-plodes and a 400 watt alpine amp and a new sony detachable deck, installed it myself all for under 500 bucks, what do you guys have?

What the hell were they doing with a car on the moon?... havent they gone far enough?

yeah sony stuff isn't the greatest quality, atleast as far as speakers and subs are concerned. Their headunits are great a few months out of the box but after that they go to shit eventually.

the 'new' kicker subs came out like 2-3 years ago. but yeah theyre pretty phat. sound a lot better than my 10' Comps i got.

the speakers aren't given enough power from the amp, but I have one channel each going to the front JBLs and the rest are bridged to the sub. My head has a 200W amp in it going to the rest of the tweets and mids. It's enough to hear what I want to hear in a song, so it's all good with me.

i got 2 4 and a halfs. and a pioneer deck. Oh it rocks. but actually i spent all my money on the truck.

lets see 1 rockford 400 power amp (552 watts) 2 JL W0 tens, polk crossovers, mids and tweets and a kenwood deck... i use to hit 135.6 in my last truck but now i have a bigger truck and hit hits a little lower oh well

got a sony explode amp pushing 600 amps running 2 10' kenwood subs. the deck is a piece of shit pioneer. it runs well enough but it's old. saving up for a dvd h/u. the system sounds sick in my hatchback, very crisp and deep bass. the stock door speakers are pretty goo fro highs but i will be upgrading those eventually.
