Who had the best first Job?

i work at a pizza place, its fucking dope the crew is all so funny, its the easiest shit ever once you know what you are doing, you get all the food you want and after tips i probably make close to 12 or 13 dollars an hour.

whatever you do dont get a job at your local hill, sure it can be fun at first but you'll soon realize you have no "free sking" time...

i worked as a bank teller with a bunch of other kids my age at the time. i know it sounds like it'd be super strict and stuff but our bank was super laid back and we had so much fun. that was def the best job i've had. it sucks, i miss that shit now that i'm talking about it haha

That sounds hilarious. I worked at a golf course for my first job, i highly recommend it it was super laid back, i was outside and i did not do a whole lot.

my first job was working in rentals at my local ski hill, its now my 4th season working there. The free seasons makes it very nice.

when i was 16 i got my first job other than mowing jobs (made a summer job out of it)

i started out getting 12 bucks an hour to build gas wells, my boss wouldnt let me buy my own food

he would buy me breakfast and lunch everyday

and that summer we were working 1.5 hours from the shop so that 3 hours or so getting paid to sit in a truck and shoot the shit

My 1st job was at a pizza place too, tons of fun! Most of my jobs have been pretty sweet though, park crew, limo driver, overnight manager at a 24hr tanning salon(nothin' but strippers!), private investigator(such a rush tailing someone, getting within inches)...

same! being a cashier was super easy. But i got to ski for free anyways cause my dad's on the ski patrol so now i work at wegmans (most awesome grocery store if you've never heard of it)

well its not really a real job but i ref soccer games (im only 15). and its like $20 - $30 a game. during weekend tournaments ive made like $400 so its not bad for an underage job i guess.

I've got a shitty job. I'm only 14 so I can't really get a good job in Maine but I can work. I work for an engineering business in Maine as the custodian/faculty manager. Bascially I bring people paper, clean up their trash, and clean copy machines. I get paid preetty good tho. I mean I work 8 hours for 3 days in the week during summertime. Soo since I don't have to buy groceries and shit, I have a lot of pocket money during summer.

i work at a local ski shopp, soo sick, surrounded by shit i love and most the time can just chill. plus profroms 450$ skis for 175$

at 14 i was umpiring baseball games making 22.50 an hour, and i got to make my own schedule, and could work basically as much as I wanted to when i wanted to.
pretty bomb until some 8 year old's father followed me to my car and threatened to beat the living hell out of me.
Some people take baseball pretty seriously haha

Same. I now work at a pharmacy too and a summer camp. It's a lot of work but its worth it.

Just please don't be one of those kids who complains about working or having bad hours. I'm 16, have 3 jobs, and started working at 14. It doesn't suck that much (well, sometimes, but not always).

I worked at a starbucks kiosk in a mall. It was super fun. So chill and I got to hang out with so many people all the time.
Stayed there for two years and then I worked at a skate/clothing shop. It was equally as awesome.
Currently in the abyss of higher education = no working..

i worked for a family friend who is a lobbiest. I made $10 an hour and played computer games the entire time.

now i work in my local ski shop. its an awesome job but they pay is crap

i started mowing lawns at age 13.....

my first job at 16 was doing maintenance at a park... if i go back this summer. it will be my 5th year. (we have alot of fun, its awesome)

my first job was being a caddie, i worked on weekends, and got payed 35-50 for 4 hours of work, depending on the golfer

Apple Orchard. Get paid to be in a beautiful orchard and chill in the October sun. Comes with free cider and cider doughnuts.

Apple Orchard As well, except i was inside stocking shelves with apples and drawing cider from the machine.
the free doughnuts were amazing though

Yes i worked at a pizzeria as delivery for my first job. Such a dope first job, got good tips, and got to smoke a ton of bud every day. Someone there always had bud, i smoked on deliveries, before closing up shop, and even with my boss. We went to his house one day and smoked bongs before putting up fliers.

good times

I guess I'm pretty lucky. My family is pretty wealthy and both my parents love to ski so they buy me any ski gear that I could want (within reason). I don't really see a reason to get a job until im on my own. Since I lucked out in terms of my financial situation I figure I might as well take advantage of it.

when i was 13 I was a Chocolate Advisor at Lindt Chocolate. i handed out free samples, most of them ended up in my mouth.

that's nice your parents can take care of you, but return the favor and don't be a waste later in life.

my first job was for my dad and his contracting business when i was 13 or so.

i work at commonwealth lacrosse (comlax) prety sick its my first job and all i do is basically watch tv since noone really ever comes in

Royal mountain terrain park manager. best job ever. you try disigning the park and getting paid. awsome

mine was at red rocks, got free concerts all summer and made bank. still work there actually, cuz its the fucking dope shit.

i honestly feel sorry for you. (100% truth here)

i just hope you do not turn out like one of my friends. who from the sounds of this paragraph lived the exact same lifestyle as you.

I worked in a warehouse doing shipping shipping and receiving all through high school. Pretty easy job, with good pay (started at $10/hr) and ridiculously awesome hours. 8-5 m-f. needless to say i made bank and could still party and ski all weekend.

I worked at a bike shop for 2 summers. Building bikes and fixing them. It was a pretty sick job with like 40% off everything pretty much. Just ask around at places you want to work and maybe get a job or at least get to know the people better for a job later.

Starbucks. Although sometimes stressful it paid extremely well, great benefits, and unlimited free coffee.
