Who else thinks skiing should have been in ssx3?

I have been playing on tour.. Its not that bad. But yeah i liked ssx3 a lot better. Idk why, it was just a better experience. Maybe cause it seemed like an actual mountain.

Skiing in ssx3 would have been nice.
 
I played a lot of 2 player SSX On Tour with my brother over the summer. And I always lost because I refused to do impossible tricks. But what I lost in points I made up by gaining the skiing moral highground.

Ugh. That game is pretty lame.
 
Word about it being a lame game. I love SSX3 so much more than On Tour, but I'm stuck to playing On Tour at the moment because it's just a much bigger game than SSX3. They should go back to the 'Ride anywhere' format that they had in SSX. On Tour just seems so much more....impersonal, if that's proper to say about a game.
 
yea i agree. i want to see a legit game with a "real" mountain with other skiers, a legit trail map and lifts. that would be cool. GTA style where you can get off your skis go into the lodge haha i dunno GTA style games are fun cause u can go around and do anything. id love to see skiing involved in that style.
 
I've heard they're ditching Amped because it really only appeals to certain part of the market. Indie Built, the company that was making the games, was dismantled earlier this year by Take-Two because it was just not profitable for them.
 
well by the looks of the news concerning amped..we are screwed?

if they don't even want to support a core snowboarding game, they have no use to do so for skiing.. in which freeskiing covers an even smaller part of the market than snowboarding.
 
Even though there is no skiing in it.. i can play SSX3 for hours as a replacement to actual skiing. Just a well made game.. made you feel like you were actually on the mountain.
