Who else likes short skis for rails? Am I a minority?

i usually ride 185s for park, but for pure rails, i cut down to 178. not much so its purely mental.

I got some skiblades that I picked up for $100 with bindings back in the day and the only thing they're cool for are super busy days, because you look so totally out of control on them. Nothing like dropping off the top of Mammoth and literally watching 20 people just move out of your way like "Oh shit! that guys gonna kill me."

They're great for a laugh but i wouldn't see anyone taking them too seriously.

agreed i mean they used ski blades in head for the hills... but as a joke, they were just throwin corks off small shit and just messin around, but when your actually doin real skiing you gotta go with full twins

im 6'3 and had 171 invaders for the longest time. i finally stepped it up to 183 blends. very stooked

i like shorter skis, im 5'5" and i ride 171 park skis but i like 161 or 155 for rails but no shorter, after that then it looks like snowblades, and you can also do presses and crap with them too, 

i think good rule of thumb is no less than 15 cm shorter than your normal/ tall park ski
