Who else likes Children of Bodom?

i saw them down i Phoenix after thanksgiving. do you guys know what their name means

I think they need to get a singer, and just let him play guitar. He's soooo nasty, but i don't like his "singing"
 
The guitarist is a pure genious, but he could come with better stuff with the lyrics..

My roomate listens to that shit... its pretty gnarly... he went totheir concert but got too fucked up and got his ass beat and kicked out before COB came on... then he cried the rest of the night because hes a pussy haha
 
COB are awesome. they're my first metal band and probably always will be. consert's february 5th in stockholm.
 
great i saw em 2 years ago but missed em this year unfortunateley. but i honestly dislike alotta stuff after follow the reaper.
 
Actually, if you look at it from a different angle, like if there wasnt any Follow the reaper or HCDR, the last album is pretty good...

i know we can actually hear the lyrics, and its less neo-whatever but songs like trashed lost and strungout + the solos still kick ass

there's a children of bodom tune in Baker 3 (a new skate vid), it's Dustin Dollin's part, good seg... crazy movie too
 
bkr 3 is amazing and it fucking blew me away when dollin skated to them cos all my grecoey freinds hated i liked that then i was all liek"whats up now thats dollin and bodom" ahha
 
They're definitely really good, but at the same time there's some super lame elements to their music--namely the abuse of the keyboard. But I still listen to them quite a bit, especially their cover of Rebel Yell.
 
haha yess the keyboard is sometimes in need of a break, well thats how they roll.

do you really need to know what genre they are to know if you like them or not?
i dont give a fuck about genre, i just listen and decide for myself
