i sure as hell do after the us becomes a third world country from trying to deal with the 7 trillion dollors of dept we currently owe. thank pres Reagan
 
don't get too worried. the US runs all the international financial institutions and has the power to bring other economies to their knees. noone's gonna be able to collect their 'dept' at the expense of american quality of life.

im not sayin that i dont like america i love it but at the rate of which pres. have spent sense reagan, i dont think america will be the same country by the time most of us are 30... plus vancovur has got great skiing and pot

Where did we get the money to fight the Revolutionary War? Where did we get the money for the Louisianna Purchase? Where did we get the money for WW2?

Yes, I'm the one that's rusty. Reagan also had a STOCK MARKET CRASH in his presidency. He had good economic policies and the trickle down theory worked well.

Every country has a "debt". You are talking about a deficit not a debt. Spending more than what you make is a deficit not a debt. You should really study economics. We have debt from France in the revolutionary war, but it's pretty much pointless.

So in reality, you don't even know what term to use to describe your retarded theory...good job.

the problem is other countrys will stop buying t-bills (treasury bills, basically american dollars) then the US will be forced to print or create more dollars. Inflation will occur.

Not to mention the value of the dollar compared to other currencys will fall (like it currently is) making your luxuries alot more expensive. You can bet your sweet american dream this will affect your way of life.

America has almost no manufacturing sector left.

Basically you will all be poor as mexicans.

um... good try but just about any ecominist is gona tell you that the stock market did poorly due to reagans economic pratices... and the deficit just adds to the nation debt and is only cacualted for each year... canada is cool in theory. But then in the end its just like Ohio with poor (although free) health care. I don't know how many of you have been to Ohio but it's pretty shitty.
 
are you kidding me, theres a reason why people bring their kids to edmonton for brain surgery and to montreal for cancer. Its cause we have some of the best in the world, and its not free, we pay tax's for it

wow first off that number includes private dept and your talking about the national dept, so there goes part of it. Yes the public debt hasn't been this high since the stock market crash in '29, but Roosevelt set up programs so this shit does happen again. second off china owns most of our national debt because we are their main market place, so inorder for something to happen, the whole world needs to fall with it.
