Who else hates tweaked grabs?

hahah, we got you pretty riled up there!

remember what i posted earlier? i'll quote myself.

written more politely; a lot of tweaks look bad.

you guys were just getting dumb and sarcastic earlier though, so i wasn't going to post politely. i'm a negative and rude person here most of the time anyway.

but i can write it in a positive light! untweaked grabs look good. untweaked grabs look better than a lot of tweaked grabs.

i don't believe i was hating on your sport, either. just hating on a very specific way to grab. skiers do them inccessantly so it might have seemed like i'm hating on grabs in general.

Yeah too tweaked grabs look stupid, Like when TJ brings his mute grabs to where the ski he is grabbing is parallel whith the other ski it doesn't even look cool.
 
sometimes tweaking the grab can add a ton of steez....remember in the x games like 2 years ago when T tweaked a mute so gnarly that he pulled his ski off....so fly
 
guyz calm down lol! we jus need 2 acsept all forms of grabs skiing is all about ur personal style! u gotta just do what you do and tweak or dont tweak and respect everyone or else we would all look the same u know!

diferent styles are good ski 4 life dont hate precipitate!Lol!
 
i think it depends on the trick.  not just the grab, but trick you're adding the grab to.  It's just gotta look smooth, and sometimes tweaking compliments that.
 
Sometimes I really like grabs that are not tweaked or even not crossed (ala Pollard). But other times tweaked out grab makes the trick perfect. For example, look at Simon's massive cork fives on his first pipe hit, his tweaked out mute makes the trick look so ill. So compact and smooth. Another example would be PK's nose grab. Such a nice looking and unique grab.
 
untweaked grabs more often than not just look terrible. not only do they look terrible they feel weird too

yeah wierd cause for some reason crossed grabs and tweaked grabs just bug me.  like i love uncrossed grabs like criticals and true nose's,  i like it when you are reaching and stretched out in the arms and legs,  i guess you could call that a tweak. 

tweaks just look too forced for me,  i like stuff that looks like your not meaning to do it, or not trying.

and plus people have been doing tweaked the fuck out mutes and stuff for a long time and after awhile they arent special anymore.
