Who else hates their roommates sometimes

Alright, so, who here is in college or graduated and lives with roommates? I live with 2, and they're cool most of the time. One of them boards and skates so we get out to the hill 2 or 3 times a week or go skate around together, so he's pretty chill and never makes any trouble without fixing it immediately, but the other guy is fucking neurotic. I can't stand him sometimes.

On monday I got home from my girlfriend's house in DC, and the place was a fucking shit hole. It was clean when I left on friday, and the other guy left to go camping, so it's not like the destruction was a team effort. He smoked my hookah and didnt clean it, there's trash all over the place, our rug has a huge stain on it, and the kitchen is a fucking war zone with dishes coming out of both sinks and all over the counters. To top it all off, there's filthy clothes and books all over my couch and floor.

I didn't say anything for a day or two hoping he'd clean it up, because I trashed the joint pretty good too a couple weeks ago, and it took me til tuesday to clean up. This morning, though, he woke up and went "ahhhhh man, we need to get this place straightened up dude." I told him I clean my dishes every chance I get, and that 95% of the mess is his fault, including the flies that are starting to gather all over the first floor from the dirty dishes. He says he can't be held accountable for his laziness because he's still tired from banging sluts all weekend, but fuck that. Not only is it a stupid excuse, but I know there were a bunch of girls over here, and I'm 99% sure he didn't hook up with a single one of them, so he can fuck off with that shit.

Any of you guys have roommates that act like complete ass hats sometimes? Chime in, this shit is absurd.

 
my roommate is the bomb. we ski together and whatnot. since he dosent drink he always DDs... shits legit
 
yeah john whom i share a bathroom with. not my formal roomate (hes legit) but as close as you can get. hes a little bitch and tries to start fights with me over stupid shit. its jealousy because no house gave him a bid or even a call back.
 
yah their parents are alright cause they come down for football games and tailgate and cook for us and buy us free booze, so ive got no problems with them.

i was talking to parker (laid back guy who boards) about trey (neurotic fucking maniac) and we both agreed it'll be sweet when the mountains open so we can get away from him for a few days every week
 
man that's a nice setup. my roommate is one of my best friends and he has bady personal hygiene and isn't used to cleaning up after himself at all, especially when it comes to the kitchen. i'm not his mom so i don't complain about it unless i'm having anyone over and the place smells. usually though, instead of always keeping my really clean and get pissed about his mess, i just leave my crap around too.

and thank god we have our own bathroom. that is one place i would not share with him. i keep mine nice.

my biggest problem though is when dirty people are on my giant beanbag...pisses me off
 
yah i had my own apartment last year and it was pretty boring...i did my best to get out as much as possible, but it's def better living with people even when they're being shit heads

like i say, i get along with these dudes most of the time...main thing that pisses me off is the kitchen, i hate going to make some food and having it smell awful and there be flies all over the place. you need to have a clean place to cook your damn food.

the main thing though is how lazy he is about it, and then how he complains about how dirty our house is. he's got his classes set up only on tuesday and thursday, so he has NOTHING to do 5 days out of the week...i mean, i know he sometimes goes to the gym for like an hour a day, but aside from that what the fuck does he spend his time on??? clean the fucking kitchen bro! shit...
 
yeah everyones usually friends with all there roommates. but at the same time everyone will get pissed at there roommate about something once in a while. i consider that to be very normal
 
mine is kinda wierd and hates drinking and smoking, but he's still a cool kid. I feel bad when I come back at night, but i dont wake him up. plus hes clean too so our place looks sick. I get along with him to, but were not like best buds. I think I lucked out on this one.
 
totally true in my case, just cant stand the one motherfucker sometimes...when he's bored and has nothing to do he gets worked up about the most benign shit, on top of the stuff ive described

fun guy to party with though, and usually down for whatever, just really high strung for the most part
 
mine fucking sucks!!! he thinks hes soo hot shit, hes like fucking abercrombies bitch, thats all he fucking wears, and he keeps telling me i need to get some style, plus he doesnt ski or board, i think im gunna kill him.... how should i do it?
 
heavy metal poisoning...not like they did to the prime minister of Ukraine, I mean set your alarm clock to blast Lamb of God every morning or something...it'll probably kill him, i mean, he probably loses it whenever music comes on the radio and it isn't fallout boy
 
i got an apartment with 3 peoples and i like it alot. we all act like family, haha it's pretty sickly. and i do more than i ever did in my life just in the past 3 weeks since i never went to parties before.
 
he fuckin got pissed at me cause he lost his hair jell AGAIN and he thought i took it and hid it from him. this was before he called his daddy to find out why is moms credit card was working so he could buy a 2 50$ pollos and a 200$ pair of jeans
 
hahahahahah hooooooly shit that's incredible, what an asshole...i seriously hate guys like that more than anything, they tend to gravitate toward a lot of the night clubs in DC

most mornings if the alarm is bothering him, he just turns it off before i wake up, not good for getting places on time
 
most of my roommates were crazy crackheads. so i got my own place and have been happy living alone for the past 4 or 5 years. freedom is great
 
My roomate likes to play counterstrike at least three hours per day, usually from 11pm-2am. I usually have to tell him to stop so I can get some sleep. Most of you have no idea how annoying it is to try to study or sleep when your roomate is sitting across the room screaming in his headset to his internet counterstrike buddies. Other than that he's not too bad. He also plays world of warcraft which has made me lose major respect for him.
 
i lucked out. i have 3 house mates, and all 3 of them are great. we all get along well together the only problem is that none of us do dishes so like every o ther day one of the guys gf comes over and does them... haha

anyways, my randomly-assigned roommate last year was this fat iranian kid who oddly enough went to law camp with two of my best friends. they warned me when I mentioned his name to them before I left for school that they knew him before and he was really pompous and lame (for example, he brought his lacrosse stick to camp just to show off that he played to everyone)

he was a nice kid, but he did piss me off occasionally. his girlfriend was a freshman in high school, kind of disturbing. and he was pretty pompous and lied a lot about lacrosse. never trust a fat kid about lacrosse, theyre always a claimer.

but I moved into another dorm with my friend who was kind of a meathead, but a cool one. he worked out an insane amount but was also a huge pothead and democrat, which is an odd combo. but he did take my food a lot which pissed me off, until eventually i confronted him and then we were all good.

you just have constructively and assertively resolve any problems you have with roommates.
 
HAHAHA same deal when i transferred junior year. i got a random roommate assigned to me and he was pretty full of himself. He went to Landon for High School, which is apparently one of the best lax schools in the country, and he talked an enormous amount of shit. Turns out he only played JV though, which pretty much anyone can do, so he wasn't exactly that good. He ended up becoming one of my best friends though, you know, once I chewed him out a few times for being completely absurd and insecure. He got his shit together and now he's a pretty fun guy to hang out with.
 
My roommate transferred first week of school so I've had a single for almost a month now.

My RA keeps telling me they'll eventually move someone else in, but so far I've had a double all to myself.
 
they'll probably move in a transfer next semester if youre not careful, either that or put some other kid in with you who's trying to escape THEIR shitty roommate.

my advice to you is find a good friend of yours who hates their roommate and get them to move in, otherwise you might get stuck with some random weirdo

 
i live with 3 girls...big mistake, they are looney, good thing i have the whole basement to myself...the man cave.
