armadas are a nice ski, but not durable enough. unless you aren't going big, dont buy armadas

Line is totally right. I've worked in a ski shop and in the industry for a while and the construction of the Armada's is a little weak. I wouldn't be surprised to see tons of delammed ARV and AR5's half way through the season. If you want a bomb roof ski, try the Seth Pistol, Troublemakers, Tweaks or the Volkl Explosiv. The Aotmics and Volkls actually handle really well out of the park.

which k2s? cause i spent a season on enemies and did enough that i wouldve thought theyd be thrashed... but then only i was... but then after one week at high north they somehow went to hell, totally destroyed one of the tails and cracked edges. but all of the ks demos they had there were in decent shape... and yeah, seth pistols rock your mommas box.

if you are a real skier you will deffinetly break the seth pistols. i snapped mine in half. got a brand new pair a week later for freeeeeeeeeee

my armadas are fine...i just think i'm gonna break them every time i nose butter or tail press or something cause they flex sooooo damn much i hope i don't break them when i go out west cause i'll be mad fuckn pissed...

don't buy atomics, i have been through six pairs in the last two years. Thank god for a good waranty, and working in a ski shop, but yeah, they suck and break. I am on Trouble Makers now, and haven't had a problem with them yet.

I still haven't gotten my 4FRNTs in, let alone been able to ski em.

I'm not too worried about breaking them though, if they break, they break, that is why the warranty is there.

 
Ya, im riding 4FRNTs this season. They are probably one of hte most durable or the most durable twin tip ski on the market right now. The warranty is very nice too, 2 YEARS, and they wont break, they are so damn strong. 4FRNT owns.

Ive never tried Armadas but if they flex to much that is a bad thing.

4frnt with the two year warranty is going to kill the other ski companies unless they up the ante and begin to offer the same warranty.

 
yeah i would get some 4frnts but they are too wide for me. the width is good in the park or in pow, but in moguls and shit that stuff can be a bitch. im thinkin maybe volkls or atomics?

OpIvy, you bring your skis to the shop and they shop will send them back. a week or 2 later Volia! you get new skis.

Note: this only works if you have a company with a good warrenty

i snapped one and bent another pair of public enemys, got warrenty both times, but ehy said they wouldnt warrenty it agin. and broke 2 pairs of skogens last year, but got warrenty on them.

I blew the side out of my candides two seasons ago and got a new pair mid season like 2 weeks later. Armadas just suck, face it.

 
ive been through four pairs of skis in two years, broke the enemys, broke the tens, broke concepts and just snapped my pe's in half. i hope k2 warrentys them cause ill be outa skiing this year if they dont

Ya skis really dont last that long, my sudgestion to u is to make the best of what ever warrenty your skis have and break your skis as many times as possible up intill the warrenty runs out.

Im gettin 170 armadas anmd i heard good shit about them but if i break them i got waranty but i have a pair of pow airs and they held up so good.

Why don't people stop whining about their Armadas breaking, if you ski in the park, you better bet more than half the people are gonna break their skis within a year, its freeskiing for cryin out loud! If everyone's so 'scared' their skis are gonna break, than don't ski, just hold them and rub them, yeah thats fun.

Most of the time skis break cuz people don't know how to ski on then. When u hit a 40 foot table and land really back seat any ski is going to have some troubles.

The problem with Aramada is that theyre not everyone on the same ski that Tanner uses cause if they maybe they get different results.
