Who else had a wasted summer?

I made money with minimal effort and had some nice alone time. I didn't have to see anyone unless I wanted to. Everyone gets on my nerves after 10 months of seeing them every day.
 
i definitely did. i had a job and that pretty much ruined it. next summer im not getting a job, going to mt. hood for a month, and partying the rest of the time
 
meh mine was pritty good. vacationed on the beach for a month up in miane. then came back and made like 600$ in 3 weeks then caped it off with a party up in vt. at the rome "by any means" premier. all in all, it was pritty good.
 
meh, didnt see half the people i wanted to, worked too much, and mmissed a bunch of parties and only got drunk once. pretty much not good.
 
I didnt waste my summer at all. I golfed alot, and didnt work. I saved up a bit of money mowing my neighbour's lawn to buy a new jacket/pants/bindings later on in November. It was fun, but I'm almost ready to go back. I dont hate school, but I dont love it. Its going to be nice to get back into the routine, and see alot of people I havent seen in a couple months!
 
getting over 2000 posts on newschoolers? of course it wasnt a complete waste.

but seriously my summer sucked. i could of been at home chasing girls and getting drunk but i spent it with my family in louisiana
 
yeah man i know what youre saying...its just hard to get back into the routine of things at school for awhile
 
made a bunch of money and didnt have my car on the road so its all saved up for ski season. saw my friends everyonce and a while but sometimes it was really boring cuz i work from 2-11:30 at night and not many people wanna do stuff befor or after that time.
 
I had a pretty tight summer. Partied alot with a bunch of new people, made lots of new friends i thought i would never make, got drunk alot, got high, got my drivers license, made money, pretty damn good for me.
 
I had a summer job through an employment program, which ate up 5 weeks, it was fun, I made enough $ to get a whole new setup and I made some friends with kids I barely knew before. With the exception of the weekends, I feel like my time was wasted, and I am actually looking forward to going back to school so it feels like I am doing something useful.
 
I had a backyard setup, went biking a shit ton, progressed a lot on both, partied a ton, went to some lacrosse camps, learned some shit, and got some alone time. I liked it.
 
true dat. i never thought about it, but you cant really be alone much when its not summer. i like being alone. its relaxing and worry-free.
 
ah me

I did freaking school work and stressed out about it, spent my time on NS, and made no money whatsoever
 
mat. experimented with drugs apperently.

i had probably the best summer ive ever had. didnt work too much even though i did have a sweet job. and just wakeboarded nearly every day.
 
not the most epic summer, but it was ok. lots of bridge jumping, buit of river floating, tons of golf, concerts and cookouts and far too much beer. didnt get a lot of hiking or biking in, but it was my own fault for being lazy. all in all, id give this summer about a 6 1/2 on a 1-10 scale. im just super ready for winter now.
 
summer school, smoke a jack on the ride home, go swiming or hookah, smoke a ciggarette, drive around, get chow, go to doock in old town, ciggarette, party, home at 12 wake up at 630 repeat.
