Who doesn't drink?

don't close yourself off, drinking can be a fucking blast.

also, if you're still in high school and haven't lived on your own, etc. you're probably going to change that teetoling conviction sooner rather than later. you'll probably see things in a different light with more experience, just the way it goes.
 
yeah, i just don't see any appeal in drinking till you're drunk/puking/falling over. plenty of my friends do it, but its just not for me. i don't mind beer with food or just hanging out though.
 
I'm in college living on my own 7 hrs away from any family. I choose what I do here. I just choose to not drink.
 
I quit stopped drinking when i was 15 and im allmost 18. But i do smoke weed cause it feels good and you dont get all fucked up and feel like shit the day after.
 
still in high school but have had opportunities to drink and passed up on them. I just feel that it is pointless to experience something drunk cause its like a crappier version of what's really going on, you could make yourself look like an ass and do something you regret, and feel like shit the next day. I don't care if people do drink cause my friends do sometimes, but idk i just don't. I have better things to do

After passing out in a flower bed infront of city hall one night then getting detained in a drunk tank for the night I stopped drinking for 3 months. Not that it was a struggle or anything it just sounded like a good idea at the time. I drink, it happens. I dont remember who this quote was from but i like it:

"A man with true balls will do what he would drunk, sober."
 
Been sober for 15 months! plan to go for awhile longer too. and I'm 18, so I can easily obtain Alcohal.

 
I didn't drink in high school and I don't drink now. I've got nothing against it, but don't have an interest in picking it up anytime soon.
 
I don't need a beverage to have a fun time.

No hate on those who do drink and such, it's a personal choice.

But if you drink and drive, you suck.
 
After this weekend, i'm pretty sure i'm quitting.

I woke up this morning and felt like i was going to die. I have cut's and bruises all over me, i have no idea where they came from.

Its fun while you're young, but i'm getting older, and i don't handle it the way i used to.
 
i turned 21 about a month ago and have yet to purchase/order a drink. i went through my drug/beer phase in HS
 
I try things every six months or so and other than that alcohol doesn't interest me. IDK why, I just don't care about drinking... Like the last thing I had to drink was a sip of guiness my sis gave me on st. patrics day, and then I had some sake a while before that because my friends dad left it out. A lot of my friends drink and I'm cool with it, and they respect my soberness 99% of the time, it can come in handy sometimes to have someone who isn't completely fucked up with you. I also like remembering what I did last night...
 
Actually is most fun to just be such a good drinker that your drunk as fuck but still in control of yourself, and then you an make fun of everyone who can't hang because they didn't start drinking till they were 20.

 
Haha all you 18 year olds that are talking about giving up drinking..wait till you are 25 and then say that again.

You stop drinking for the sake of getting drunk, and you do it because it's enjoyable with friends. Not to mention, a good beer is pretty damn good.
 
YAY! someone that is normal. i hate getting drunk and honestly, being the sober guy or dude sitting there just sipping a beer watching other people be shitshows is far more entertaining than being the drunk ones.
 
Don't get me wrong though!!

I love a bender just as much as the next man, but not too regularly.

Some of my friends will drill themselves into the ground every weekend, but I'll drink a few beers every night and keep it at that, unless there is an occasion.
 
yeah, i agree with you...

i have friends at WSU last year that would get drunk wednesday, thursday, friday nights, and all day saturday and sunday like it was accomplishing something..
 
I think its retarded to never ever try alcohol. Like, how can you say you don't want to and never will drink if you've never tried it. Drinking is a blast. Whether its just to get a little buzz or being drunk. I never want to drink till I'm sick and throw up because then its not fun. But seriously drinking with friends is amazing and I think people who don't drink are retarded.

With all that being said, I have never smoked anything before and never will because its disgusting.

(If you don't drink because of allergies obviously thats understandable)
