I just watched layer cake. Its a sick movie that has daniel Craig who is also the new james bond. And I kind of wondered who was the best james bond ever. Im not sure who i would pick.

There is only ONE James Bond, Sean Connery. Whoever above me that thought Daniel Craig is a good fit for Bond, needs to jump off a bridge.

when i found out i was related to him, through some chain of poeple i was pretty excited.

but either him or pierce

I thought he was great. He's actually human, which is a different bond than Connery's untouchable action hero version.

That's the point of the movie, though. It's before he's a double-O and there are lot's of shoot first, ask questions later! KInd of like you, J.D.

daniel craig hands down. In my opinion Casino Royale was the one of the most well made bond films. They kept it super realistic, in the fact there was no space lasers or anything like that, but they still managed to keep it extremely cool and interesting (freewalking etc. (or whatever it's called)...my two cents

Sean takes my vote, he's still the man I picture when I think of a James Bond movie. Daniel craig is a close second for me, gonna have to see how he does down the road in this role.

Hmm.. I grew up with Pierce so whenever I think of james bond I picture Pierce Bronsnan. I've seen too much of Connery's recent stuff where he plays an older guy to really think of him as James Bond. Plus Celebrity Jeopardy kind of ruined any image of Connery as a suave debonair kind of guy. Roger Moore was pretty good and he did it the longest and he did some of my favorites like Moonraker, Golden Gun, and Octopussy.

pssh Sean Connery all the way. granted I love brosnan (mostly from the ass shots in the thomas crown affair) but Connery is definitely the better of the two. Come on, never say never is one of the best bond movies!

deffinently on the more real one he didnt have a superonic mega blaster laser ray gun thing like he would of had in the od ones in thismovie he had a gun in hs right hand some conoms in his left (for all the lady folk) and cigerets in his pocket and a really nice car

precisely.

Sean Connery's impossibly fantastic Bond, however, will always be a classic. Pierce Brosnan, well, was just sorta ridiculous.
