Since I've skied them already, I'm going to say ARMADA! There are a lot of good skis coming out next season, don't get me wrong. However, in terms of an all around lineup, at least for more modern skiers, Armada is absolutely killing it now.
- The ARV is getting stiffened up, which will make it a more popular ski amongst all skiers.
- The flex and overall ride of both the AR6 and T-hall have been refined for 07/08 and both will be fun rides. The T-Hall is my sleeper choice for one of the most popular skis for 07/08.
- All of the reviews I've read of the ARG says it is money, and I'd be willing to bet that once more people get their hands on it, it will come full circle.
- Armada also has two price-point skis coming out that are surprisingly good: The El-Ray and the T8(?). These will be good dedicated park sticks for people on a budget.
- The 07/08 Pipe Cleaner is stupid fast and stupid sick. Such a sweet pipe and jump ski, it literally weighs almost nothing. Killer flex for buttering and manipulating the tip and tail too.
- My female acquaintance said the new ARW is night and day compared to this years.
- The ANT is already and will stay really popular as a big-mtn/charging ski, and it is relatively unchanged for next year.
- The JP v Julian is a ski I am yet to ski, but want to so bad. As I understand it, it is unchanged for next year. This is a ski that sounds so, so fun. 103 waist, less sidecut, and a big fat tail for landing switch. This thing could be my next powder/booter ski.
Do I need to elaborate any more? Yeah, I'm a bit of an Armada whore, but I wont lie about the performance of the skis.
