Who do you call when the cops are trying to kill you?

Basically. Whereas he should get charged with assault. Although I guess it's possible he did that completely by accident. Thought he was in reverse or something.
 
Although watching again it looks like he actually backed up first, so he would've had to put it into drive and steer himself straight into the guy.

Yeah I don't know why that dude isn't in jail. I mean I do, but you know what I mean.
 
Yeah hard to tell from that video cause it was chopped...but if a citizen hit someone and then drove away holllllly shit would they be in deep

cops seem to be able to get away with this stuff by being placed on paid leave aka awesome vacation and then come back to a slap on the wrist desk job for a month or two

*note I am not anti-cop like the majority of NS that contribute in these threads..but there are tons of situations like this were cops easy slide through the cracks for doing some really dumb shit
 
That was some horrendous driving. That said, I would love to see the footage that was omitted though.
 
Yeah cut the film so they they look like innocent bystanders. The cop fucked up clearly, but I guarantee those kids were not just minding their own business.
 
ive seen this before. it was the kids friend. He painted his car to look like a cop car and did this to catch the peoples reaction around them on camera
 
Not disagreeing with you because it does seem plausible cause that cop car looks a little funky..

but those hubs are on numerous crown vic cop cars..since ford owns lincoln anyways it makes sense that a lot of these fleet vehicles have that style of hub
 
If it is fake, these kids could have been slammed with a pretty huge charge for impersonating an officer.

there's some cop logic for you. Added to the fact that cop could have really fucked that guy up by doing what he did. Some cops are fucking retarded.

And he wasn't really a plainclothes cop neither, since he was wearing a vest that said "POLICE" on it. Seems just like a really poorly made mock-up police uniform.
 
from what I've read on the story- the cop did it 100% on accident. he got out of the car and apologized/helped the kid up in between the cuts in the video, then went on his way. The skater chose NOT to press charges because the cop admitted his mistake and apologized.
 
That seriously makes me glad to hear. But it is seriously getting on my nerves how people are pointing out EVERY single cop to be the worst fucking person on this planet. The fact that the video is edited like that is just a shame.
