i really hate dancing, and i think the prom would be the biggest waste of time ever, but i think i should go just because its prom. anyone here not go to prom?

I went to 4 proms and they all sucked but one. 3 times I went with people I didn't even like, but the other one was a very, very good night. I think it's the person that makes the night, not the dance itself.

i've been to 2. the first one was my prom, it blew nuts, but just cause i didnt like the girlfriend i had at the time, the people in the school pretty much sucked, and i dont enjoy to dance without drinking. the second one i went to was with another girl, it was a fuckin awesome night. if youre friends with a few people goin, then you should go, if not, then stay at home and drink your problems away

i didn't go. we baseball playoff games. i don't really feel like i missed anything though. everyone leaves those dances early and parties somewhere else anyway and i was back in time to chill with everyone i cared about seeing by then. just my opinion.

As long as your in good company, it really ian't an issue. It as a kinda last major hurrah for me and my friends, and especially the guys you are cool with but you wouldn't count them as your close friends. Having a Chill date is real cool too.

iv been to 4 proms in my day, and 2 of them were increadable, the other two kinda sucked. It depends on what the evening evnts are, for example at one prom we took a double decker bus from a pre prom kegger to the museum of civilization in ottawa, where we had a good meal and then it was all folowed up by a boat cruise and a hotle with 5 floors rented. It was a sick prom. Then another one, the chicken exploded when you cut it, and you only got 1 drink... the whole thing kinda sucked. So it depends on whats happening i guess.

I went to 5 proms. I actually had a lot of fun at all of them. But it depends how many friends you have going and where you are going. The after prom shenagans were usually the crazy parts of the evenings. I went to 2 proms at my highschool and 3 at a neighboring school where most of my friends went too.

meh, prom is overrated. I only went to mine because... well, I don't know. I moved to Ottawa from Montreal and I knew nobody, had no date... just flat out sucked. At least I got to dance with Miss World Canada (Tijana Arnautovic). She's so fine. The night was hella worth it just for that.

Lets see Junior year i went skiing and senior year i asked a girl we attempted to go but she got to shit faced b4 hand so I had to take her home. But the after partys were amazing just dont miss those!!
