Who can stomp Cork 3's?

If you can, I need a little advice? The other day I was trying a couple new tricks, i got the d-spin, that was surprisingly easy. and then i tried cork 3's for a while. i can spin them perfect, my buddies said they were just about as corked as tanners in 1242, but of course not quite. but i never fully rode one out. i am landing back seat and need help on how to get forward as i land. so to all the rippers out there, help?

I can do them on a trampoline, but mine are different from the ones I see the pros do in movies. When a pro does one, they are completely facing the ground laying horizontal in the air and their head is pointing uphill when I do mine my back is facing the ground and my head is downhill. its weird as shit and this explanation probably doesn't help. I guess I kinda need help with them too

landing backseat isn't bad. The only thing you can do to stomp the landing is to get more air and come around b/c you can't rush cork 3's. just try it on a bigger jump or just pop more.

do it on a bigger jump, and slow it down. do a grab that makes you lean toward your ski tips, and go with it to get more corked

if your landing backseat it means you're not coming out of the cork, you should come around and be able to stomp it normally

well to be honest i have never tried one....but i have seen my friends learning them. From what i've seen, there is a fine line when you reach 180 that will make it either way backseat, or perfect/almost even front seat. When you're at 180 you gotta rotate the 2nd 180 on your stomach. My friends used to get to 180 all corked out and then try to actually spin the next 180...but you don't spin it you rotate it on your stomach. Hard to explain, but you get the idea...maybe.

spinnig and looking down is not gonna make you do a cork three, neither will spinning and leaning back, you actually have to jump into the cork, and landing backseat IS a bad thing and doing it on a bigger jump is only gonna make you come down further back seat

put alot of pressure on the front of your boots when your on the take off and POP. that, with practice, should solve your backseat landing problem.

 
ya you have to jump into it some, and you should be landing forward if anything

practice carve 3's first, if you are spinning to the left, drop in on the left side of the lip, then about 15 feet1(depending on the lip)in front of the lip carve to the right, then as you make it 'bout half-way up the tranny, carve back to the left again, so when you leave the lip your skis are facing directly downhill, just carry your momentum throughout the spin in the air

then once you get those down solid, go for a safety grab( on the right side if spinning left, and the opposite for going right), then look for the landing and ride away, because you are now officially sick

carve into it, dip the left shouldr(if you spin left), set the rotation, and to get out of it look at the landing, its mad easy

I do cork 3's and this is how i explain it. Cork a 3 and land it, i dunno how else to explain it, that is just the way i do them.

ppl like me.. last saturday i too went for a corked 3, and ended up landing a d-7 instead! i actually landed it! but i was still sad, cuz i didnt get the corked 3, and those are supposed to be easier.

from what i gather here, the main thing to gettin the corked 3's is carving hard. is that right?

To land it you have to take off forward a little and in a carve. Set the spin with the cork just like you prob have been. if you saty in a crouched possition the whole way(dont stand up at all) you will land forward.

what snowforblood described is a bio 3....that's all i have to say because i can do bio 3's on skis but not cork 3's on skis

 
first of all you don't ever pop when you are corking a spin so whoever said that has no clue what they are talking about. if you are landing backseat you are probaly not straigtening after 270 which is important. just keep working on it because its such a cool trick to have in your bag

trama1260 please explain why you wouldnt pop before corking a spin. you should pop before doing EVERY trick. it is an essential part of taking off.if you didnt pop before starting your rotation your trajectory would way lower than you want, and it would end up looking really gay. and i do know what i am talking about.
