let me take a little guess about something here asac.... youre not voting for bush because he 'lied' to send us to war, because our 'civil liberties are being slowly revoked' and because almos 1000 troops have died in the war in iraq, a war that you see as 'illegal and unjust' not to mention the civilian casualties that have taken place there. and, you cant stand the fact that bush has implemented 'tax cuts for the wealthy' while ignoring important issues such as the the rising costs of health care, and the availibility of medication for seniors... is that about accurate?

one additional question for you. where would you rank bush II in relations to the rest of the american presidents in our nations history (i.e. one of the best/one of the worst) and who would you rank as the best/worst?... and yes, i am setting you up, so be carefull how you answer.

I hate how people call it a trend. I don't knock Bush, I make and read informed comments about how he fucked your country in four years.

But I have my doubts about Kerry. The dude just isn't the right choice for the democrats in my opinion. Maybe I'd cancel my vote if I lived in the U.S, or I'd just move to Canada.

The thing people don't realise is that there is no equivalent for the liberal party in the U.S. 'Liberal' itself is now a harmful term for politicians. The democrats are (roughly) equivalent to our new Consevative party. And Republicans are very right-winged, much more than our conservatives, again there is no equivalent in Canada.

Myself, I'm more of a progressist conservative, I would vote PCC if it still existed, instead of the Alliance under a new name. So if I was in the U.S... I'd rather not think about it.
