i'm surprised to see Tupac in so many lists..but that could be because i never really had a taste for his music. As for top 5? Hard to judge the best when it's not just the lyrical content but the way it is presented, and the beats that accompany the artist. To use an example (outside of rap) Bob Dylan has great lyrics and great sounding songs, but the man can't sing.
