Who are the Best Skier's in Montana?

i checked that out and Warren Miller was born in hollywood and later moved to idaho where he got into filming, Wiley Miller on the other hand was born in billings montana

all the skiers i can think of have been mentioned, but for college boarders, i would say 3 square circus crew

Well he asked for big names, so i would probably say just Tanner, you say any of those other names and the typical american would say who? You say Tanner Hall and a typical American would say, " ah yeah hes in the X games.

Yeah the big skiers I can think of have been mentioned. But TSP's Come Find Us got me even more stoked on Montana skiers. Talent.

tanner, wiley, delorme for sure. also mcchesney and luke perin. and pretty sure collins is from idaho, just went to college at MSU.

Big names: Tanner Hall, Wiley MillerOther names: Tim McChesney, Shay Lee, Mitch Gilman, David Steele, Danner Pickering, Cody Perin, Luke Perin, Brock Paddock, AJ Meldhal. Maybe Delorme, Kyler Cooley, and Dylan Natale, not really sure about those three though.

Collin is from Sun Valley but went to school here in MT for a while. Rode Big Sky for a great few years

Tanner Hall, and some people I probably have not heard of.

Montana has some steep mountains, so it will definitely produce some great skiers.

you don't "become" a local, brah... local means born and raised.
And ya, I'm from SV, Idaho, not Montana. And Delorme is definitely from Kalispell. Montana is a damn good place to ski, that's for sure.

i disagree.

you can become a local if you have lived in that place long enough. do you consider yourself a local at your home resort because i do and i sure as hell have not lived here my whole life.

i disagree.
I only consider myself a "local" when I am at my HOME mountain of Sun Valley, Idaho. No matter how long I ride Alta and live in SLC, I will never be a local.
One of my biggest petpeeves growing up was hearing people call themselves locals after living somewhere for only a couple years. When you grow up in a place, or at least go to high school there, then you can be a local.
sorry to shatter the delusions of everyone who came from a city or somewhere with no skiing...

haha, np man, just calls em like i seez em. you guys both have that awesomely unique style that makes me rewind stuff like 100 times.

this. Going along those lines home to me will always be Big Mtn even if i do not ride there once for a few seasons (which will hopefully never happen) i will call it home.
