Whiteshine To Be Worst Ski Movie Ever Made

damn, the claws come out, sketchline sucks ass, the only thing i will take his word for is that getting it up the ass hurts.
 
Ummm, why does he think he's the most hated guy? I mean like cko said, no one really cares about you. To be frank with ya, if you just stop posting, we wouldn't even notice.
 
I thought it was refreshing compared to the usaul ski flicks that all folow the same format. whiteshine made me understand skiing in a different way that I had never thought of it before.I enjoied the soundtrack because it was different than the usaul rap, and I liked how it wasn't really dived into indivihual skier sections.

I was very dissapointed in whitshine. It is, indeed a very good movie, but I'm still dissapointed. I'm dissapointed at how Rinfret, Larose, Belan, and Iannick didn't have much footage. I really like those guys and they all had really good segments in redtape, especially Larose and Rinfret. Iannick had some amazing shots as well. But, whitshine was lacking in that it didn't show enough of these guys. Apart from that, I don't really like some of the music. The song in the le massif seg is so slow and the singing isn't good. I hate to say this stuff about this movie cause I love Plehouse and the rest of their movies are sick. But, geeze, I just don't like that song.

Maybe I just need to watch it more. each time I watch it, I like it more and more. I think I just need to get used to the music.

I will applaud plehouse for the best use of random objects to jib. The junkyard segment was absolutely amazing.

The bonuses are great with shining white shine at more than 1 hour long and the bonus footage being 30 minutes long.

So, whiteshine is no where near being the worst movie. I guess I went into it, thinking it would be the best. I'm just dissapointed not to see much of rinfret and iannick.
 
i dont think someone has common sense or good judgement when they rate the hit list above whiteshine. in fact they are pretty much the dumbest people to walk the face of this planet
 
it grows on u after u watch it a few more times, i definitely appreciate alot more than i did when i first saw it, it was a totally sick movie
 
your right and i think everyone thinks its soo artsy cuz no ski movie has been made like this one. big ups to plehouse for pushing ski films.
 
White shine is fucking good, but just the songs aren't really putting you into it. Its still a good movie. Keep it coming plehouse.
 
dude you are a sped...i just watched whiteshine for the first time and i thought it was amazing. i love the extras in it too...one of my favorite movies this year for sure

no dude look at the talent in this movie charles ganier winner of the x games jf houle who i think will be the charles gagner of this year. I hate it everyone thinks in theyre heads ooo tanenr hall is the man yeah but did he win the x games this year?? no he just fucking smokes pot so try to look at all the work plehouse put on that film.. and as far as i know id be the happiest huy in teh world to be uin whiteshine and im sure if you had the talent to be in it you wouldnt be saying this.. your jealous point.
 
People need to stop hating on Whiteshine. This is progression of ski movies in a positive direction, unlike the junk coming out of MSP
 
no one is comparing this to msp, which somewhat had a decent movie this year. and im saying that because rory bushfields segment was almost the sickest seg ive seen ever!
 
your an idiot, whiteshine was a sick movie, just because it wasnt ski porn doesnt mean it wasnt good. just because you cant make a good movie doesnt mean you have to bash other ones.....or a decent movie....or a crap movie.....or a movie.
 
don't know if you saw the teaser for plehouse in the vast awards, but it was the worst i've ever seen. opening segment were all wack crashes.
 
if you want to go beat off to ski porn, go get an MSP film. if that's your thing, whatever. if you want to see skiing and the culture represented, see stuff like Whiteshine. it's like in mtn biking- NWD series vs. The Collective. both cool in their own way, but they have different target audiences. if you don't like it, fine, whatever, but "the worst ski movie ever made"? no, that's probably the one you're trying to make, sketchline.
 
DO NOT LISTEN TO T3SHELLVENOM!!!!!!! this is by far one of the most retarded things i have ever herd. Whiteshine was one, if not the most creative and artsy film i have ever seen. I found that this film would really appeal to people that have been around skiing for a while and just wanna see the artsy fun lifestyle side of skiing rather than the hardcore best riding. It may not have the most progressive tricks thrown in it but films like this will progress our sport farther than a switch 3 over chads ever could. I think what plehouse captured with this film was amazing, not only does it make you crave to go skiing, but when it ends it makes you beg for more. So in conclusion you need to have a far more open mind befors you starting making wild random hate threads about a movie that really couldnt be too much better.

sorry to disagree, but, the day someone lands a switch three over chads, that more progression to skiing than a ski movie, ever...
 
i think he means that the film is more progressive right now than a switch 3 over Chad's would be since our sport is progressing so quickly that we're already past the first switch trick over Chad's. switch stuff went wild over Chad's last year and will probably continue this year (and far into the future, i hope), but a well made film can be far more influential than one trick over one jump. sure, it could be argued that Candide finally making the gap was far more progressive than any film ever made, but as of right now, today, this season, a single film has the potential to be far more progressive than a single trick being done. that all might change this season, though. who knows...?
 
no, no, no, what i mean is that, when someone takes of switch, and lands switch, off chads, i don't care what your movie does, it isn't as progressive as that.
 
I personally thought it was one of the coolest films I've seen to date. None of that cliché bullshit.
 
i totally disagree, but whatever... i think it's too early to start saying what will be more progressive than what this season. as i said, we'll have to wait and see.
 
wow, first, sorry to bump an old thread. I was looking for a thread on the worst ski movie ever and this came up and Im appalled at my post. Shit, whiteshine is prob in my top 5 favorite ski movies ever. its so sick

theres some nice hating on sketchline in this thread too.
 
whiteshine was the first ski movie i ever saw...josh bryant gave it to me at jibij in boulder and i watched it literally 100 times over the course of like a month. thats really when my freeskiing life started.
