Whiteface??

I am thinking of making a weekend trip to Whiteface. Is it good for trees, powder, and steeps? Or are some places in VT better for that, like Stratton?

trees powder and steeps... I'd say whiteface as a whole is steeper than stratton, trees... I don't know which is better, powder, it hasn't snowed lately on the EC has it? If you want trees and steeps, sounds like you want to go to Jay Peak...

Whiteface is probably the steepest mtn on the east, they have some sick trees that are open now, pow will be the same anywhere on the EC

I agree with Alex, but there's not much for powder here these days...should have been here 2 weeks ago. Although they are calling for some accumulation on friday/saturday...6 inches I heard?

rumor is that if we get some more snow they might beable to open the back slides, dont know how true that is so dont hold me to it

I'm probably going to be driving up tomorrow morning and staying all day. Are the slides open right now?

stratton is one of the flattest mountains on the east. I was wondering, for those of you who have skied whiteface, is it really that sick? I know it gets icy, but I've never been and would like to sometime

whiteface and stowe i think are the steepest mountains in the east. ans the slides the steepest. i think we all know that strattons park kills whiteface's, but atratton is flat...

some people are going to have to tell me where it was icy this past weekend... spring skiing conditions, nice bumps and groomers everywhere, mtn run was nice to tear down
