I need advice on where to ski at these two mountains from locals. Hittin them up during spring break. ON whitewater is there anywhere with 10-15 foot drops, cause i wanna land some spins off cliffs.

damn man you are really planning this trip out in detail.

im heading to big white and i was wondering where i could fin a 17 degree pitch where i can make a switch carve between two trees. sorry to jack your thread

At whitewater I'm quite positive you will find just about every size of cliff you will be able to hit. Check out Red Mountain too they have a shit loads of big mountain terrain from lift access and no traversing.

whitewater has it all as far as cliffs, red does too they are both sic! tell me when your comin i would be glad to show a fellow newschooler around

Im going in like 2 weeks and a couple(maybe 2 days) to whitewater. IM buying new skis just for it. Actually not there sweet skis, Armada ARVs. Also Ive already been to red moutnain and it is a sweet mountain... Lots of nice 20 foot drops

just show up at whitewater and look up from the base area trust me you wont be disapointed and will know exactly where to go

if ya want a good drop at silverstar go to three wise men on the backside.....near the bottom of the run there's a killa drop and also a crazy log that sticks out of the cliff beside it its pretty fun

at whitewater head down into the cliff area on the skiers left on the summit side. theres some pretty fun stuff in there. or theres heaps of sick backcountry spots

definately not as much in silver star though.. although iv only done a couple of days there so i wouldn't know all the good spots
