White Stuff on the ground

I looked out my window because there was loud noises and i see a whole bunch of the white stuff on the ground. and i guess it was hail. why does god have to play such a mean trick on the midwest.

i slid on my shoes but there wasn't enough to make a jump. if it didn't rain right after i could have done a small urban. you could make snowballs with it so it would have worked.
