White shine ??

Plehouse continues to put out ass-kicking movies. I have red tape and white shine, and they are both different from whatever else you might buy. Excellent work.

Where to start? The movie flowed so amazingly well. Every shot was increidble, very artsy and well composited. The songs fit the style so well.

My favorite part was definitly the junk jibs, those were awesome, and it was a real fun little section.

I'd type more but have stuff tog et done, so overall, awesome movie!

Negatives:

-It's not obvious who the skier is in ever shot cause it's trip segments.

-Not enough of rinfret, belan, larose, iannick B.

-short

-I didn't really like the music that much, but I just really like classic rock, and I know the music will grow on me.

POSITIVES

-the junk yard segment was amazing. innovative and great use of random objects as jibs. Prob my favorite seg, just cause I'm in sort of the same situation.

-jf houle is good

-gagnier is good

-amazing heli shots in the quebec segment

-lots of neat urban jibs

-jp had a short, but good seg

-editing was amazing, some great stuff i've never seen before, not the same old stuff that's in every other movie

-oh, amazing shots taken at night, especially the shots with the fog, great stuff.

the bonus stuff is really good too. There is a TON of extra footage. Moe than high five had last year.

good job plehouse, I give it a 5 out of 5

the editing was off the hook, amazing job, scenery was beatiful, and JF and Charles Defenatly killed it. What bothered me abit more was that the way some shots where filmed, they were too close to the top end of the screen. Second, I'm really dissapointed Belanger didn't get pipe shots, cauz this guy can rip-up a pipe like no other. I know they wanna get better at BC, but still. the rest was sick. But in my book, Red Tape is still better

The editing was really good, the soundtrack flowed very well, and the shots were really nice...what I wanna see more is some of the riders from Assault like Phil Warren and Guillaume St. Cyr...etc.

Guillaume St. Cyr had a gnar fall on a urban early season and messed up his knee, thats why he wasnt in it, he couldnt go off huge shit

It was awesome... in my opinion the "artsy" thing makes it much better than the other ones, i.e it never gets tame because of the innovative shots. The massif part with the helicopter was truly wicked.

My only complaint is that, even though I like the way the segments are organised by locations (excepts charles and JF), sometimes I had a bit trouble telling who was who. Only once or twice though. Other than that, it was perfect.

Its real good. like people said, very cool artsy shots. It is definetly different and takes some getting used to. the only bad thing is it is way too short. its only slightly over a half hour

very dope, JF Houle is amazing. He has one of my favorite segments ever, JP as well. Gagnier is on a totally different level with his skiing, untouchable. It has an alright flow, intro is amazing, Plehouse shows there editing skills more thene ver before. Lots of great scenic shots, a bit too much in some spots. I didn't like the music but they made it go well with the shots so i can live with that. also a few to many powder skiing shots for my liking but overall a dope movie and worth the money, great job!

The shots were incredible. every single one of them. super clear. It could use more people, but its still sick. i wouldn't change anything about it.

i thought it was lame having to watch some park monkeys grind around on the top of a rusty car. BOOORING. If thats skiing then I dont want to ski anymore.

It was the DOPEST movie I've seen so far. I really liked the travel theme. The only downside was that sarah only got a couple shots in the movie. Her part in redtape was so good.

i thought it was super fantastic. the different approach was awesome, and the shots were killer. im a huge fan of the soundtrack.

and the bonus?? that was some super bonus bonus, i loved it

i just hated to see the movie end!!

yea it was a sick movie! the wait was worth it, i wish i could take back my whining! i really liked the "europe" segment! i like how they switched between skiers, it kept the movie interesting, instead of having to watch the same skier for 5 minutes!

trop sick fred.. Pléhouse stepped it up from last year.. prollly one of the msot original movie ive seen.

yah id never seen a plehouse movie so i wasnt sure what id get when i bought it, but its sick, i like it more and more everytime i watch it, you appreciate the subtle things like the flow and editing more each time, def the most creative ski movie ive ever seen, the music was different and at first i wasnt crazy about it but its grown on me because it fits so well with the movies vibe and editing, if u havent u should buy this movie

i had a dream last night with some of the soundtrack in it

each time i watch it, i too, notice more. its one of the only movies that i never skip a segment, its just sooo good in my opinion

soundtrack is money. skiing is pretty damned good. intro was amazing.

i can't say i like segments with a bunch of people in them though. i don't care how original it is, i hate having to figure out who is who. i like watching ski movies to see what different people can do on their sticks.

overall, whiteshine was great though. and despite my above comment, the junkyard segment was an exception for me.

it was really good editing and it is a very artsy movie i really liked it deffinately a good one to pick up

the thing i hate about it is that i haven't gotten it yet, but like everyone in NH has gotten it aaaaaaah

fucking epic. there are way to many new scratches though. all the extras are just as good. i have watched it absolutely ripped twice and i could watch it a bunch more

ITs amazing if i didnt love watching it so much i would put it in a glass case, put it on the mantle and shine a sparkly light on it!!

The only downside is that I was promised footage of Mickael and all I got were a couple shots in the B footage segment.

I wish they'd put the song list at the end by section. It would of made it way easier to find out what songs you like. Amazing movie though.
