I have a problem, if you happen to be white but can actually rap there is no way you will be taken serious. so you have a few choices of style. you can rap like el-p, aesop, atmosphere, but then not everyone will understand it, or dig it. and then people will give you shit about that. or you can try and be eminem, which doesnt work for most because of there background. so how in the world would a white half way decent rapper make his own style to be respected by black people, or rap listeners alike. ive won a few battles in my day, wrote tons of songs, tons of one liners, had 1 show with my band which didnt go to well cuz 1. i wasnt stoned 2. stage fright is a bitch. but i tryed the aesop style which was ok, but hard to remeber cuz it wasnt really my style and didnt flow to well. name some other white rappers that made it. and i know im just gonna get a bunch of vanilla ice this, eminem that shit

And why do you want to make it on the same level as these huge rappers. I'd rather do the style I want to do. If you're good and dedicated to spreading the word about your tunes, people will listen.

As with any rapper, you will have people hating on you all the way through your career. Mo money = mo problems and i see where a white person may have more hate from people as well as other rappers but many times the hate is from jealousy. If you are good enough, it will show.

well i mean i want to do shows, when i think about havin a bunch of friends, me with a mic and just rippin it up it would be like the best feeling ever. but i am still tryin to find me style, and im tryin out like all the roads to take, aesop is way to deep, slug is the good medieum, cuz eminem is way to thug. ya i just got toy around with it, thats what most of songs are about, gettin respect cuz im white and stuff

Slug may be half, but he doesn't look it at all. He looks like he is white. Slug is the MC in Atmoshpere. I would say that I like Lucy Ford or God LIves Ugly the best out of his albums.

What I can't beleive is that noone has brought up Eyedea. He won the blaze battle a few years back. Legend has it that P. diddy offered him a car, a house, a deal, and his girlfriend, but he has been on Rhymesayers for a long time, like since he was 19.

Just develop your own style. If you are good, people will have respect for you no matter what skin color you are.

Go look at all your favorite hip hop groups. There are guaranteed to be white people in a good number of them.

I thought the lyrics sounded good. Go with your own style, don't try and be someone else. If you want to look up to any white rapper however. Edan is your man, he's breaking barriers in all sorts of ways.

for dreams, when it first starts of it sounds *like old school NWA.. but then the electronic keyboard comes in sets it off too a whole different feeling which is sweet

there's a local punk group around here called Love Equals Death. Those guys tear it up, and the lead singer is black. The crazy thing is, he sounds exactly like Davey Havok from AFI.

some times it works, if you have like rage sorta rap, rock style with white people. but thats not really my thing cuz i cant sing
