White one piece: a good idea for big pow?

lol prolly sounds stupid but does a white one piece sound like a good idea on a big powder day. would i dissapear. lol. and no i dont want to hear that its not a good idea on any day. comments appreciated.

all i know is i wanted the new white one-piece stowe suit by burton, and my mom quickly reminded me of my white ski pants from a few seasons back, which were definitely brown by the end of the season.

and to the guy above who said "pow should let them stay cleaner"...

true, but what about walking through the dirty/muddy parking lots before/after?

if you plan on changing in the lodge and trying to keep it as clean as possible, go for it, just keep that in mind if you're going to be spending a lot of money on it.

but on a lighter note, white is hot like whoooooa

go for it, people will still see your goggles, hat, gloves, etc.. And as far as keeping it clean goes, that all depends on how well you do with not bumping into dirty cars, rolling up the legs when walking through parking lots, falling on rails, eating sloppy food, etc etc haha

my while snow pants still look pretty much perfect. i wouldn't be too worried about getting it dirty or disappearing. just get a bright ass hat/gloves/poles/skis/etc.

if you were planning on filming/taking pictures of ANYTHING with you in it, it would be awful

My roommate wore a white jacket and pants last year and people would always run into him....Im pretty sure they could never see him, especially riding at Big White with the fog all the time.... It was the funniest shit Ive ever seen. I think his count of people smashing into him was like 14 by the end of the year....

other than the obvious dirt issues, there is one thing i would say...

this might seem a bit intense, but is relevant to bc riding, and could mean life/death- if you get buried in a slide and have a bit poking out, your buddy might not spy it if its white, whereas he'd see it straight off if it were coloured. this might seem stupid, and he should find you with his tracker, but sometimes a few seconds really do count!

anyways, hope that doesn't happen, but its a legit concern i think...

you will blend in, so if its deep pow, get a RECCO device installed in your jacket so coastgaurd can track you down if yop become submergedddddddd

coastguard? is that a joke, i can't tell...?

and you should never rely on recco.

1) educate yourself about bc safety

2) put this education to good use when it matters: before/when you go into the bc

3)ride with other people that know their shit and are properly equipped (tracker, shovel, probe MINIMUM)

4) IF THE WORST COMES TO THE WORST, rely on a recco device to locate your body for the funeral

i mean yeah i have servants to carry me but it was more of the safety issue of gettin covered like what rastarider was sayin. gettin clipped by little kids all day on hardpark will probably be the bigger issue.

yeah i think i'd rather try to go for white and be invisible than that color. cool suit though. plus im workin on a lethal clothes-line move for the little skat lovers.

thats what i was thinking. i'd want to be wearing the brightest colors ever if i get caught in a slide so people could find me
