just wondering how dirty white pants get. debating about the saga white pants and i heard from a friend that white pants get super brown and ugly and dirty (which makes sense).

whats your experience with them been? they stay white and fresh or get grimmey and dirty?

thanks

Baggy white pants stay white for a very short while.

You can wash them, but too much washing can fuck the waterproofing properties of them

It depends how hard you thrash on rails. But if you're thrashing like you should, yes, they will get dirty. My last pair of whites got pretty dirty, but whatever, who cares. If you want white, get white. So what if they get dirty after a while.

Ya true dat...but you can buy waterproofing spray at foot locker or another shoe store and spray em down before you go out....prob cost ya like $8 per can of spray and wud last for maby 12 applications

but it looks really cool when you go on a ski trip and bleed all over yourself the first day so then you have blood stained pants the rest of the trip.

They're gonna get dirty no matter what, first dump on a rail will stain them for sure. Then again it'll stain any pants, it'll just be mad noticable on white pants

i had white pants last season and i had a super hard time not getting them dirty, espically in like parking lots and in nasty chalets. you need to hike up the bottoms basically anytime you dont have your skis on, or else they will get fucked up. i also washed mine prolly 2-3 times over the season, but you need a special detergent so that the waterproofing donest get wrecked.

white stuff is pretty steezy if you dont mind looking kinda gay cause your always concerned about your gear.

Yeah that shit really fucked my jackets and pants up, parking lots, dirty cars, dripping grease from lift towers

If your gear isn't dirty, you don't ski, just choose colors wisely so you can't notice it

I have a white jacket and I love it. Rails will get it dirty, but who really cares? White looks sick and it was off-white to begin with. I ski the east, which means a lot of glades, and unless you ski the patrolled and prooned marked glades only, you will be doing some bush-whack-skiing. This is super fun, but will leave brown bark stains.

my white pants have some brown, orange, green, red, blue, black, and i think yellow on them...but still mainly white

yea white gets dirty, but its bearable. ive had two pairs of white pants now, and i never have regreted them because they look so ballin. youre going to fall on rails and fet grease stains, youre going to get mud from parking lots a foot up your leg, and its going to get other misc. marks/stains. THE soulution is washing them once a week. its not as bad as you think and deffinetly worth it

hell no!!! snow is white.

jk. but if u put waterproofer on it it will wick away water but also other liquids such as juice and stuff reducing stains.

just think of it this way, any rail stains you get will make you look like a million times more hardcore haha.

if it gets dirty just deal with it. im rocking white pants this year as well. just roll em up when you go inside/walk in the parking lot etc

nikwax will help restore waterproofing.

check the pants' fabric care instructions, but you should be able to machine wash to clean the pants, and then apply the waterproofing agent, whether it be a spray-on or wash-in.
