Whistling skis

I just went skiing today and my new silencers were whistling. there wasn't any chatter or floppyness but when I went fast enough they whistled. Why is this and what can i do to stop it?

It's probably your boot or binding, not the ski. I can't imagine any way a ski could whistle.

do they have rivets? if it really was from the tip that's the only thing i can think of.

its nothing, my walls did it before, and my buddies kung fujas do it too. its really tiny vertical lines on the sidewall, and it hits the snow and makes a weird noise.
