Alright i am heading out to whistler for two days around the beginning of august end of july and was wondering if it was worth going skiing? Is the park still up, I dont care if the park sucks I am just desperate to ski. Also what are some good ski shops around there. Any Information would be appreciated thanks

They actually made thepark beter in the last couple of days. The snow's dirty, and glacier ice is appearing everywhere, but there's still something to ski.

ok thanks for all the feedback, will the park still be up around the 30th-1st?

Now is actually a great time to go skiing if you ask me... There are no lift lines anymore because most of the camps are gone! You used to have to wait for almost a half an hour to get on the t-bar, but now you only have to wait for maybe a minute! Less people in the park now too, so you don't have to wait to drop in, just lap around! Jumps are pretty good right now too!

i was just there yesterday, the snow is getting shit but there still keeping the park in good shape, im not sure what the lines are like cause i was with a race camp so i was skiing in the morning and there were no lines, its still hard to poach though, those high north guys sure don't like racers trying to hit there stuff, but back to the snow, its already slushy at 8 in the morning so it won't be the greatest in the afternoon
