No, at least nothing special. The park really gets going like the last week in december, if that. They will probably have some rails and maybe a hip.

the pass is simple. you have to be 19 or older or have parental concent. its a seasons pass for the park. it costs $15 and lets you ride the pro park. YOU ONLY HAVE TO BUY IT ONCE!

Candide1 - there is a public terrain park on the Horstman Glacier on Blackcomb.

About your original post though, the park that is put together for opening day (US Thanksgiving) is totally dependant on how much snow there is. As an example though, there was a really, REALLY dry fall here last year, and the park guys put together a pretty solid jib park to start with. (nice work Nate!) All of the Intrawest Resorts were directed to put as much effort as they can to have as much terrain park open as soon as possible as they could. From what I know, this will be the case for the coming season as well.
