Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.
 
whistler hands down. as duder said above, drinking age is 19. bitches are plentiful and smokin hot, and u can smoke yourself retarded without any problems. plus i heard that hood doesnt have a bitch-kickin town like whistler does (the village)

Out here (in the west) where most styles are created, everyone these days is rockin the one shoulder backpack. You get yourself a tight pack like a Dakine or some random skate pack, and just drape that shiz over your right shoulder. That means when you are jibbin the park, you gotta do all your grabs opposite, with your left hand. Otherwise the pack will fall off your right shoulder and all the girls will gasp and think you have no steeze. Another thing to do with the pack has to do with when you are on a rail. Once you are securely on the rail, just let the pack slide off your shoulder and just hang that thing off your arm. This lets everyone know that you really don't care you are on the rail at all, thus making your steeze that much better. Plus when you 270 off, the pack whips around and takes out any gapers trying to snap pics of your fly ass.

Most everyone pays tribute to the creater of this style by rockin 'the kevin' almost every day. So if you see someone with mad 'the kevin' style, don't hesitate to go up to them and say 'Dude, your 'the kevin' steeze is so tight I think I am gonna go home and punch my mom in the face.' That will let the person know they are indeed cool, and that you will be rocking 'the kevin' steeze sometime soon.
 
Whistler because you can do anything you want. Water sports, Heliskiing, Mtn Biking, etc.....Whister has everything a skier could ever need....There is tons of shit it do. Not to mention the entire town and village is a giant party. If your 19 of course...

they are 2 totally different mountains, whistler has 2 mountains hood is just one, whistler has a village hood doesn't. hood is more chill, whistler has alot more goin on. but id pick whistler.

heres the general oppion i have gotten from some pros 'whistler = play, hood = work' whistler actually has a night life and everything is more chill, hood all you do is ski, if you really wnat to progress goto hood they have better stuff but if you want to both learn and have a good time goto whistler. i have been both places and personaly i think whistler is by far better, even the weather was better, thats my oppion, oh and also you are in walking distance of the mountain in whistler, hood not so much...

And it makes me see, every puff that I breathe, potent herbs and leaves could ease the world . . .

i agree with what has been said. hood is better for skiing but nothing else. plus you dont have to ride 24 chairlifts and a bus to get up the hill. you can walk up for free if you want.

but on the other side of the coin, theres really nothing to do after you get off the hill unless you want to drive into portland.

the deciding factor for me is that one of the places has sushi village, the other doesnt.

i love hood but then again it is my home... is there good surfing near whistler?

also hood has much better summer skiing

but if i were to live at one i'd chuse whistler cause of the village

hoods public park is way better in the summer, and with meadow's new lift, the winter park at hood will be rivaling whistlers...i always ski at hood, i love it. its hardly ever crowded, and the locals are chill and super good at skiing.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed
