Ok so I'm trying to convince my dad to send me to whistler for new years, and it is obviously very expensive, but if anyone knows any places to stay that are cheap, but I wont have to like bring my own sheets and a lock for my door that would be very wonderful! thank youuu, or if you want to come with and help me pay for a hotel that would be cool too

crash with someone from the website. i'm sure there are some people out there who would be down for letting you sleep there just for a night or two.

although, i would advise that if you go with my plan, buy a set of underwear that have a lock on them so you don't get violated in your sleep. you should be good to go with that.

^yah...I don't know how thrilled my parents would be, but I would be down, I heard the showstring lodge was cheap?

depending on how old you are, i would go to vancouver hitch to whistler with a friend, stay here, try and get free passes but pay if necessary, and hitch back to vancouver fly home.

I went out there a couple of years ago and stayed above the bar at the base for cheap$$ went with a few buds to split it up, met a guy on lift that was sleeping in atm at night.

Shoestring is pretty cheap. UBC does have a lodge, pretty sure you have to be a student but give it a shot.

Post in the Whistler Regional Forums for more info.

i'll be there with a couple friends on the 31st through the 11th-ish so if you wanna crash with us it's no problem. always willing to help out
