Whistler today was INSANE!

i was there, but not that impressed tbh, lift opens late due to avalanche conditions, 2 hour lift que for first run up, and pow was wet/heavy.

but i did have fun :3

pretty stoked for how early we are getting snow though. maybe attack of la nina 2?

i had the single best run of my life this afternoon over harmony way. its my first season here and I've only skied europe where you have to get lucky to get good pow. can honestly say it was one of the funnest days skiing I've ever had. except waiting 55 minutes for the lift. BULLSHIT

this a waste of space. it's winter, its ski stoke time, get this summer ns junk out of here.

2 and a half of fresh pow on november 22, gimme two seasons and i'm there.

lolque?

I got up at 9:30 apprx 1 hour after opening, they are making sure its safe.

the pow was fucking epic, sure it was a little heavy but it was sure not wet.

Still hasn't snowed in the Alps :(, you all better stop bitching about 1 hour lift lines and heavy pow. At the moment my ski resort has 1 run open on a glacier, so FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

You shoulda seen the heeps of pow in ohio today dude man bro it was soooo gnar i totally shredded hardcore yaa

Whistler newbies put this in your phone. Its the WB ops line, info for the WB staff every morning. Gives you a bunch of info on where they are doing AC first, which lifts/terain are likely to open first etc etc

Crucial when deciding whether to go whistler or blackcomb on a big pow day!

I was up there! snow was real deep and there was lots of fun to be had. But it def wasnt the perfect day, only a small amount of terrain was open, the lift lines were long, the mountain opened late and the snow was a bit heavy.

dont get me wrong, it was amazing. But the really insane days happen when both mountains have all the terrain and chairs going, the parks have all the big features open, the really gnarly terrain is acessible, and there isnt a big chritmas or reading/march break crowd.
