Me and a buddy are gonna be in Whistler this weekend, skiing friday-monday. Any NS'ers in the area wanna meet up and shred? Were down for whatever, park laps, trees, alpine, kicker sesh, whatever. If you wanna shred, post here/send me a PM!

Do you know any good line/cliffs/pillows/places were people dont go too often if they keep getting dumped on?

Too late, today was the best day of the season so far, by far, and everything has been completely destroyed already.

Thats why i said if it keeps snowing like this. On a good pow day every thing is done my the time they close as you just stated. But im baking on next week having at least one day like today or with a solid amount of snow overnight. Me being from out of town i dont know good spots even if it dose snow. Oh BTW what mountan is better on a pow day? I know blackcomb has the better park.

hey dustin, if you pick me up in oly i will gladly join the shred mission. maybe you can teach me to land fronts instead of almost knocking myself senseless.

/sarcams and anger that i live in a place that is so FUCKING FAR FROM SKIING

woops fucked that up im on my phone i was going to add that even though blackcomb is better they really messed up on saturday, people were dropping into the glacier so they got mad and closed it, and then opened it again?

People prefer one of the other, they both have everything to offer (trees, steeps, alpine, cliffs, pillows).

I prefer Whistler because I find I get more vert on a pow day. You can lap Harmony and have interesting terrain every run with only one chair lift required. Peak and Red is a pretty fast cycle as well. Both mountains have good mid-mountain trees when it is storming.

On Blackcomb, lapping Spankys with glacier road, then Excel and Glacier chair takes a while (obviously it is worth it, tons of terrain in there, and it doesn't get destroyed quite as fast with the cycle time). Same with CBC. Chainsaw, two lifts again.

Blackcomb has a wider variety of backcountry access, but you can also get fucked very easily as it is mostly alpine.

Try to find someone to show you around, you can see a lot from the lifts, but some stuff (tree zones especially) are not as obvious.

Especially on Whistler, specifically the trees. If you know you're way around the doom & gloom/frog hallow area, you can find some stuff that most people don't know about.
