Alright, I have some questions for anyone who knows about whistler:

how easy is it to get around the village if you fly out and dont have a car.

how easy is it to find a room around April / May

is most of there high alpine stuff still open in late April / early May

I you go out for a month do you have to buy either a ticket every day or a season pass. Or do they give you some sort of discount if you buy like 30 tickets

Any help would be appreciated

I;m going to whistler soon. . .but there's no new snow. . . .i'm going to cry

If humans and dolphins are the only mammals on the earth that have sex for pleasure, do dolphins masturbate themselves like humans do?

its as easy pie getting around the village...... there is a spot that is all shops and resturants and crap like that, that is a pedestrian area...... oh yeah, and there are hotels EVERYWHERE so it should be easy to find a place.

lol seriosly? thats funny... i wouldnt say that though, some time share companies will give you a few nights in a hotel for sitting through some movie and pretending like your interested, and then turn them down and have a kick ass time in whistler.

plenty of snow all the time, no need to worry....cept this season...ahh no snow

rent a cheap ass condo with some friends for a month, split the cost, it wont be that much, and that way you'll have some place to chill too, instead of just a hotel room.

what? connecticut has snow and whistler doesnt? i never thought id see the day.

if you don't think you'll be there long enough to buy a seasons pass..i would suggest an express pass you get your first 5 days free and after that it's like 20% off or somthing.

If you don't have a car in whistler it is no problem at all. The main village is all pedistrian, and the blackcomb village is 15 mins away from the furthest point of the other village. The bus system is also free for most of the whistler area.

In April/May it is quite easy to get a place, especially after Easter. Look into condo rentals. You can get deals on lift tickets for a long time, but as mentioned before it is probably better to get an Express Card. All of the high alpine stuff is open in April/May, except Blackcomb closes at the end of April (25th or something) but everything on Blackcomb is open until then. If I have forgotten anything, message me.

for accomodations also check out the staff housing. by that time of year(april/may) alot of the staff have started to leave and vacancies open up. it's cheap ($7-10 a night) and it's right at midsation on blackcomb mountain. as far as the season goes you'll have no trouble riding well into may. alpine is usually good and most of the mountain is not bad till about mid april. don't know anything about ticket prices though.

if you are flying in remember that you land in Vancouver, and need a way up to whistler, its about a 2 hour drive from the airport...yes you can buy like 10 day passes and things like that, check the web site, they will have the prices

there is a shuttle from the airport to the village. i think it's about $50 return.
