What's up NS,

I'll be heading west sometime in February, just looking for a local's insight on what the weather will be like. Also, the more prevalent question on my mind (it relates to the first one), should I rent some powder skis while i'm there? I live in southern Onterrible so I own one pair of skis: K2 Recoils. Will I be fine on those for the most part?

thanks for your help NS,

^^ What he said.. It's a little early to be predicting snow conditions.. This year we had a really slow start by Whistler standards but we've just had a few successive snowfalls and this weekend is supposed to bring another 30-50cm. I'd definitely recommend putting money in your budget to rent some big sticks if you want to experience and enjoy riding some of the more difficult stuff on Whistler or Blackcomb. You definitely can make your recoils work though. Either way you should be in for a treat.

POW POW this weekend! yayayayay. But skis don't REALLY matter, floating is overrated anyways. Just skied 4 days at revy with 92mm waisted full camber skis, was a great time.

i know someone selling some pow skis if you're interested, check the whis buy and sell group. c van is selling some opus and faction 4.0s
