is it just me or is there a major increase in inconsiderate people lately?
the 4 hit line in the medium park i love those hits.... but you'll be at like the 2nd jump with some guy standing next to the kicker just about to drop in for the 3rd... fucking annoying
even if you shout "dropping" or something... they look up and continue...Rage. its not even just gapers.
 
man Whistler has always been full of snakers. Some days its fucking stressful! I find in the HL line theres lots of respect, but at the top of the blackcomb blue park its so annoying. People need to respect eachother regardless of ability
 
Exactly... i mean im not baller in the park... im more a big mountain rider...
but past few weeks just been hitting the park improving getting grab 3s down i was stoked...
And Whistlers park jumps are in really good condition lately like im actually preferring it to blackcomb... as I dont go in the XL park.

 
hmm never really noticed it to be a huge problem at the whistler park other than the first jump at the top which is normally no good anyway. But it'd be nice if there was some way to toeach people to call their drop and not snake, but that dreaming. Until then you can just teach through example I guess, and tell people if they cut you off.
 
the first jump in the blue park is the worst becuase if you want to clear it then you have to drop in from way higher than where everyone stands so its so hard to snake people/ get snaked
 
the park entrance on blackcomb should be moved up 5 meters. it would solve a lot of problems.

on the topic of whistler park, it is effin ballin' right now! so many fun features
 
word, first year I've preferred whistler park over balckcomb. Jumps have been surprisingly big. Resulted in me undershooting the first time as I expected the normal smaller jumps in whis
 
yea whis park is so fun this year, i usally always ski blackcomb but have been doing it a lot more. as for the jumps, maybe some people cant get the right speed for the first jumps? or maybe their just being dicks....
 
no just being dicks... group of snowboarders standing on the table of the 3rd medium kicker... i was coming over the 2nd shouted dropping.... all looked one continued to drop in for the last hit.... so i hit the 3rd landed slammed the brakes then didn have enough hit for the last.... annoying >.
 
No matter where you ski there will be those stupid people, thats the nice thing about the HL park no people sitting and standing in retarded spots. From my experience the best thing you can do is tell them politely how dangerous it is standing on decks/ landings and that unlike the rest of the mountain the uphill person isn't always at fault if theres a hidden landing and a collision occurs. If you they don't respond correctly to that, be douche, throw snowballs whatever at will.
 
i am up there basically everyday and it isn't a issue at all. if you stop waiting forever to get the nerve to hit something then you won't notice it anymore.
 
I dont hit the bigger jumps... i pretty much stick to the medium 4 hit line with 2 picnic tables at the bottom....
waiting is not the problem... its landing the 2nd hit.... going for the 3rd and just as your taking off the 3rd someone drops in for the 4th hit....

 
Blackcomb is retarted. On any day other than icy or really hard pack days, you have to start from much further up to hit the first jump. Then theres 20 people standing at the gate who you have to get around. And they all end up casing anyway.
 
Yeah, it's really annoying when I'm trying to really get my pencil airs and my straight-on box slides down in the Terrain Garden and the Whistler Kids snake me, I get all pissy.
 
im gonna be shreddin thursday through sunday, how are the parks right now? and what is the procedure for getting the HL park pass? thankss
 
blackcomb parks are killing it right now and to get your HL pass u gotta be 19 or get your parents to sign a waiver then just go to guest services
