Whistler March Climate

I'm going to Whistler next March break, and I'm concerned about the conditions at this time of year. What is March break skiing like over there? Is it warm, does it rain, etc. Any comments from anyone who lives or has been there at this time would be much appreciated. Thanks.

mixed bag. I'd say typically March is a good month for snow in Whistler. Expect rain in the village, snow up where the skiings good.

It's weather though so who knows. It could be a bad year overall and unusually warm in March which would result in no snow in the village with rain up top. Or, it could be dumping all month all the way to the village and be super epic. Or it could be sunny and dry (ha, ya right).

They had been getting absolutely hammered this March, but a few years ago it was beat in February. Just look at snow reports from previous years and stuff. Check out the climate and all that, watch storms, etc.. Not much you can do about the weather. Whistler is the tits though, you'll love it.

I think on the snow has a history thing where you can see snowfall per day/month/year

I've been skiing knee deep pow here all week and it's April. March is the best month here. Good coverage and a lot of people quit skiing to bike so it's less busy.

March is easily my favourite month in whistler. And that's been true for the last 6 years.
