Whistler- is it the dream?

Never been out to Whistler, thinking of making a pilgrimage out there next season. But, is it worth the hype or has all the commercial shite, insane expenses and hordes of people diminished the ski experience?

Whistler is not as good as the brochure makes it out to be. Mad chinese people. Huge lines and sometimes shitty conditions. You could luck out though and get a pow day. But still, wicked busy.

ive been to vail but if i were planning another trip i would go to whistler i liked it better

If you want to have some fun and want to cut lines invest some money for a day 2 camp called Ectremely Canadian Stepp Clinics. The teacher that is appointed to your group will bring you to many good spots on Whistler and Blackomb.

the park is terrible compared to most middle of the line US resorts, it looks good, but the tables are built like shite.
