Whistler in the Summer.

I'm planning on moving to whistler for the summer, but the more i look into it, the more i'm finding out it's not gona be as easy as i thought. Has any one done it? if you have, where did you stay? how did you find that place?Did you have a job? Any information would help... I'm planning on going out beginning of June...Thanks for any helpful information.
 
I talked to a waiter who shared a place with a couple other dudes and was waiting tables in a restaurant. Im sure it will be tough finding a good job and a cheap place, let alone dealing with other expenses. Good thing the bud there is cheap and dank.
 
if your talking about the bike park, its amazing. the line ups are not bad at all and when they are bad during crankworks its welcomed because you need a break. the park is huge and the trails are well maintained and all round there is a sweet vibe
 
It just looks so nice!

Id deffiently look around for a while to make sure its a decent place at a good price.

Send it lots of resumes to different jobs
 
If you're talking about the glacier park which is open until the end of July. Its pretty modest and has short hours. I didn't go last season, but the years before it was 1 or 2 15ft tables and 3 or 4 smaller rails or boxes. But whatever its summer... And theres a water ramp which is rad.

I'd imagine finding a place in whis in the summer is way easier than winter, way more laid back.

Everytime I go there in summer I still have a blast, less tourists, still good parties.
 
I heard the park in the summer isn't bad, I mean for a summer park. a few rails and boxes, a small jump, just something fun to do especially that its warm out, heard its lots of fun. I've been emailing a lot of ppl trying to find a place, and everyone is either looking to rent from april to october or like the entire year. I can't find a place that is willing to rent for just a few months....
 
Ive lived there a couple times in the spring and summer. Its a lot of fun. I've stayed with friends, I've rented, I've even stayed in staff housing up on base two. I worked at Earls in the kitchen. All depending on how long your there, what your looking for, and how good you are at working/resume, you can find a job pretty easy. I even think a summer pass is cheap.
 
Summer is amazing, Rent is so much cheaper than winter and really easy to find a place. Has an awesome skatepark. Creekside is pretty cool place to look to live or somewhere on Alta Lake and rent is super expensive there.
I scored a job as a lifty up on the glacier and that was super dope just watching the guys in momentum and CoC throw down.
