i found this morning my grandma has a condo in whistler, and she invited me to it. the problem is its in july. whats the skiing like, and what is the park/pipe situation in july?

It's expensive considering you can't get on the lift until 10am (I think, maybe 11) and it takes about an hour to get to the top. Then you get to ride the afternoon on your choice of 2 runs. One of which is groomer and the other has a few park features. The scene fun and you gotta be stoked to be sking though.

 
are you kidding me. how is the skiing? why do you think that there is over 10 camps during that time? it has to be decent. plus it is where most the pros are in the summer

 
ya it sucks you can go up only at 10, and lift ticket is like 33 bucks? for public park.... but it's still really sweet, so much fun.

I was up there....last weekend? and it was beautiful to say the least. All of jersey cream was converted into a sick park.
 
k well people are talking about whistlers glacier public lane in the summer, i heard it has a few rails and a bunk jump or two, but hey its summer skiing
 
yah but is going out west jsut to ski justified...how many runs do they have...would it be possible to spend a week skiing?
 
if your not going to a camp or have hook ups from a camp, the skiing would suck. The public park is sooo bad. Its worth it to go and bike, ski for a day or two maybe
