East Coast is a hella of a lot better than whistler if they are open and actually getting snow. It has been sunny in Coastal BC for the entire month of OCtober, and it's supposed to stay sunny all through this week and next week.

try 20 inches on the mountain in the last 2 days bitches....and snow until sunday supposedly..what's that, it's only thursday, yeah, i know...

 
dont worry man the mountian isnt openeing until the 23rd anyway and u know it can get 100cm in 2 days and easily give them coverage just give it time it will come. until then pray

 
it's aweful! no clouds in sight and it's pretty much november. too weird. and you s till here ppl talking about how they want to open the mtn nov 16th. but hey, you never know. keep you fingers crossed for snow :D

 
colorado had the worst drought over the summer in the states history. and copper got 18 inches in the last 3 days! yay!

hopefully, it'll all even itself out soon for you guys.

I can't beleive that guy said the east coast has pussy hills, look at Tremblant, Jay Peak, Sunday River, Marble Mountain,although BC hills are still awesome I'm not arguing that

They can still open if they make enough snow but a 100cm dump would be a godsend, maybe november will make up for the dry october...PRAY for snow PLEASE

 
yeah, the whole NW isn't looking good right now, it will be better later though, i'm just looking forward to my trip to jackson hole, like 70 inches have fallen allready, and they ahve 32 inches accumulated at the top

i think the whole northwest drought thing is good.

the rain just gonna wait till its a little bit colder, and then its gonnna dump all winter long, baker will reset the world record and we'll be skiing there all next summer, sounds good to me

THE SPRINKLER: get butt naked and then do a 1260 while taking a piss, i expect this trick to win many comps this coming season.
 
yeah that sucks for whistler but were supposed to get record low temps and snow in CT on saturday

Damn, were getting snow in Ontario even, 5 cms in meaford today with another 10 to 15 tonite and more tommorrow, got a rail set up already. Huge snow winter in Ontario, garunteed.

Yah It wil come, but its too late. THis time last year whislter had probably close to 6 feet in the Alpine. There are so many huge ass rocks and cliffs in the Alpine areas that need to be covered, and they need to have a lot of snow to cover that shit. They'll probably make it for the opening date, but it will probably be all man made snow on green groomers, and no good terrain will be open for a while.

it's too late to save this season even though whistler doesn't open for 2 weeks? deep breath now guys, october doesn't matter. as long as there's snow by march in whistler, I'm cool. the storm door down here in cali is supposed to open up by thursday. cheers to that

Ontario is supposed to have a brutually cold winter...Dunno if that means more snow but isnt also our year to have huge massive amounts of snow since the West got pounded last year??? Dont the 2 coasts switch each season?

hmmm... Forecast models are finally showing a wet pattern starting to develop beginning Tuesday evening. The long-range models have been teasing us for weeks -- on when this dry pattern will finally give way. This time it seems to be getting more attention, so we're going to cautiously call for some light rain showers moving in Tuesday evening, and increasing to moderate to heavy rainfall on Thursday.... damnit, the highs are gonna be too warm for snow, but its a good change
