Whistler Demoing and Broken Brake Issues

Hey so I've run in to a problem. I broke both the brakes on my fks 120s. I can send in the heel pieces and get them replaced, only problem is that I'm leaving for Whistler this weekend. I have two questions. First is what's the best/cheapest way to go about demoing skis. I don't really want to pay the ridiculous amount for lift tickets without skis to shred. If anybody has any other bright ideas (or extra heel pieces) send them my way. THanks.

Good points. I just want to be able to try some new tricks and I'm sure eating shit is eminent I would prefer not to have a ski flying all around me while I crash haha.

no brakes is a bad idea as are leashes. There are a few places to demo in whistler but you will end up paying. You can get 1.5 hours for free on any demo ski on the mountain but you will have to return them after 90 min or they will charge you.

you could rent skis, we have all this years salomon skis to try, its $50 a day, which is about what you will pay any where in town to demo.

Buy new brakes? Or are the heelpieces trashed to the point that they won't accept brakes? Eh, sounds like a shitty situation. I'm crazy, so I'd put a long leash on both of them, but if you want to be totally safe, just bite the bullet and rent/demo each day. None of this really answers anything, but I just wanted to add my insight.
