Whistler Conditions?

So i am heading out to whistler for my february break and im starting to get worried because the recent forecasts have been all rain and some snow report apps (although unreliable) have been saying bad things.Just starting to get worried because my christmas utah trip last year was a bust and dont want to repeat that...

PLEASE TELL ME THERE IS GOOD SNOW!!

+k for advice and bumps and shit

Yeah the snows not great. Hasnt snowed much since before christmas. We are meant to get about 50cm tommorow which may help.

The parks are good though, even if there is no good freeriding at the moment.

we havent had snow in a while, been a lot of sun, but the snow from earlier on is still holding up alright. We're getting about 20-25 cms this week according to whistler blackcomb forecast. They normally are the most accurate forecast, and typically underestimate the snow amounts. Snowforecast.com also has one, but they always seem to exaggerate the amount of snow, according to them were getting 75cms in the next three days.

op i am in a similar situation i am bringin the pow and park skiis and there should be al least one 1ftplus day when im up there based on previouse years and the likleyhood in general of snow at whis

bring the pow skis; snowfall at whis has been kinda unreliable for the past month or so but even a 10cm dump can make the right facing slopes ski great all day.

i hardly ever ski the parks so i won't speak as to them, but i hear they're pretty well set up right now.

i wouldn't worry too much about rain in the village, even early in the season it usually translates into snow just a bit higher up where you'll most likely be doing almost all of your skiing.

abput two weeks ago when it last snowed i got to symphony before it opened, was tracked out by the time i got to the top. be smart where you ski on a pow day
