While we can [Full movie]

Hmmm, that's weird. Normally I can see embedded videos from Vimeo on my phone but I can't here. Link works fine tho

This is why snowboarding is so much cooler than skiing.

Takin shit too serious. Grab a camera, a fisheye, get a low angle, ramp some slow motion, maybe have a second angle on a tripod, pick some good music, and make that shit fun to watch.

I give props to the filmers and skiers who do this shit, both are very skilled, but I just don't think it goes together. This is way more fun, and makes me say "what" at the big tricks way more often:

I'll watch that 1000 times.

I know that probably nobody in this thread, or even on this site will agree with me, but fuck it. Skiing ain't serious.

I approve of this video being in Ski Gabber. If you have 50mins to spare, watch this now.

=/= fun.

You can have a very high level of production (like While We Can) and make it fun. The whole fucking movie was about how fun skiing was and how it made people feel. The interviews may have been "serious" but they were very deep and about the love of the sport. Grabbing a fish eye and filming/editing like a snowboarder doesn't automatically make it cooler.

wow, the only ski movie in the past 10 years that i didn't want to stop watching half way through, i did not would want to watch the whole thing but just could not stop

msp, pbp, tgr, level1 please watch this movie and educate yourselves

Best ski film I have ever seen. Easily.

There was so much meaning to it. The combination of interviews and skiing was perfect. It was really cool to hear everyone's thoughts on skiing and other issues(I was especially impressed by Max Hill). They definitely captured the essence of the sport. How everyone has different approaches, style, and mentalities. The emotions it draws out of people, like happiness, disappointment, and just pure jubilation.

I feel like I could go skiing for hours right now, I'm so stoked from watching this.

I just watched this, then got out of bed and realised the mountain is closed today. Worst feeling ever.

Truly inspiring, my favourite ski film of all time I think.

As corny as it sounds it really helped me to stop doubting what I choose to do with my skiing, and made me want to go do what I want to do that much more. So much respect for both the riders and the film-maker. Thank you for making this Andreas. I will be buying the DVD.

Can't believe we get this amazing film for free. This masterpiece is so inspiring and deep, absolutely loved it!

i hope this film goes into the history books, because that was truly inspiring. it made me look at the future of skiing in a very new and positive way. i also gained a ton of respect towards some of the guys being interviewed. serious skiing interviews allways seem to come off a bit cheesy, but they came out in a very good way in this movie.

hands down incredible.

i'm speechless.

I want every friend of mine to see this just to understand how much i enjoy skiing.

"Alot of people end up regretting that they never did what they wanted to do before it was too late. Sadly, some might never really find their true passion in life, so if you find it in something as simple as skiing, make sure to really enjoy it while you can."

"Skiing is fucking ill. It makes me happy."

Amazing. most meaningful, "real" and positive interviews I've ever seen. This is by far the best movie I've watched all year, maybe ever.

did you even watch the movie? I'm guessing most kids didn't because it's about an hour. tanner, b-dog, and many others dropping more knowledge on this sport than I've seen in years.

wow... that was awesome. i definitely giggled during some of the bdog interviews, but i really enjoyed that.

Bump because this movie's sick

incredible. so deep. I'm left speechless. Hands down my favorite ski film I've ever watched. Amazing job, this is why I love skiing more than anything

1. How in any way is the skiing in Why We Can serious? PLEASE elaborate on that.

2. I fucking loved the movie and couldn't even watch half of that edit.

3. You ruined this thread by posting a shitty edit with autoplay.

>:|

gonna watch soon, probably in the car friday. from what you guys are saying it sounds sick...

two very different products.

whipped together edit of your friends is one thing.

documentary about skiing and the struggles and that go with it = a lot of hard work and cinematic skill

I thought the documentary summed up exactly what skiing is to me. Why not convey that message to others?

props to Ante for making one of the best ski films ever. so damn sick. best filmer/ editor out!

Loved it except when Tanner and Iberg starting giving a little to much praise to B&E. Honestly what did they do that hadnt been done before?(other than a butter dub) I hope somebody can answer that question.
