Which would you rather? (Fully symm ski question)

Which would you rather buy.
A 90 waisted fully symmetrical ski, wood core sidewall tip tail rocker ski from K2 (Domain) at $449 ski only
OR
87 waisted fully symm ski, wood core sidewall ski (no rocker) (Volkl Wall) for $579 ski only
OR
92 (?) Waist fully symm, woodcore sidewall tip and tail rocker (more than the k2) (Salomon 2012) for $599

Thoughts?

im curious on a buying standpoint, if you were at a shop on the ski wall, and you were look for a fully symm ski and had a few choices.....which would you be more inclined to buy, knowing the price differences.

the 2012 is probably not 92 underfoot, it's probably like 88. I'd like to ski the 2012, cause the tip and tail rocker on a park ski could be extremely fun, but I wouldn't want to buy it cause it's expensive and I'm not super stoked on Salomon's durability lately.

So if K2 had a tip and tail rocker ski with a flat camber underfoot, 90 waist, sidewall for $150 less, would you buy it? Or would you look for something else.

As a 2nd ski, yeah I would, it would be a fun ski to play around on, but I like having a stiffer more solid ski most of the time. in which case I'd take the Walls as my primary ski (I've skied them before, and they are a really good ski).

walls hands down, ive skied the first year ones for 2 years, and i have this years walls now, so much more playful and fun to ski with. Super durable as well.

i have last years walls for urban and this years for park. super fun ski. on the semi stiff side but definitely butterable and stompable.

also i might be able to get u a better deal than $579

I would get the K2. I like wide skis and K2 skis have a reputation of being really solid and durable. Also rocker could be fun.
I would not get the Salomon, because they have had some serious durability issues and I just dislike the brand in general.

Personally I would probably go with the domains. K2 is a solid company that ive never had issues with and im pretty stoked on their new stuff. And the price is right.

My experience with Volkl Walls: I purchased Walls during the '07/'08 Whistler season. After a few days, both skis split LENGTHWAYS. Not from an impact or anything, they just slowly came apart. I had to send them away and have no skis for 6 weeks only to have Volkl deny the warranty.... I kicked up such a stink over it during the next month that the Volkl rep in Whistler caved and gave me a new set of Walls.

I skied the new set for the second half of the Canadian season and a full Aussie season. The edges were weaker than any other park ski I've owned and had cracks and buckles everywhere within a few weeks. I trashed them because I expected them to fall apart again but they didn't, no splits, breaks or delams. The first pair were clearly faulty and the Volkl warranty guys had just tried to screw me. Weak egdes aside, they were a great ski but there's no chance I'll ever go near Volkls again.

domains if your looking for a nice soft jib ski to fuck around on and walls if your looking to kill huge jumps and rails.

let me know which one you end up getting, i'm might be getting domains next year. sorry for the dub post.

hands down the domain! i have had the in my hands at our viewing. such a sick ski. i will be skiing it on monday as well as the salomon. and many more hopefully i'll be able to throw up a review.

thomas thinks he's a badass because his blue steeles are getting a little bit of rocker added to them.
