Which wordpress theme for portfolio? Help me decide!

I've been busy setting up my own site, but need some help choosing a theme for my portfolio site.

Goal of my site:

Have a place to showcase my work and look 'professional'. Not looking for clientele necessarily.

What I want:

- about 4 categories, 6 photo's per category to showcase what I can do in every category and to show versatility. No more than 25 photos max on the whole site

- About

- Contact

I'm highly likely going to do this through wordpress. If anyone got other suggestions, please let me know!

Few themes that fit the description I think and are just clean and neat. Let me know what you guys think.

Right now I'm leaning towards Supde-Slide. I think it's a neat theme.

If anyone got other suggestions as far as themes go (or not going wordpress at all), don't hesitate to reply!

could you post your work so it's easier for us to see how your style will match up to a theme?
 
It will be street, candids, abstract/fine arts and landscapes for now. Hopefully adding action sports (skiing/skateboarding/bmx; never gave this a serious shot) and fashion/editorial some time soon.

But for now it's candids, street, abstract/fine arts and landscapes. So more 'artsy' stuff, if that's what you want to call it.
 
i'm not sure if this is out of the question but krop.com has some amazing portfolios... it's definitely top quality and they make it suuuuper easy to put together, even with minimal work. here are some professionals using the templates::

you can obviously direct the portfolio to your own domain name and they cover all hosting, so all you'd need is a domain name (which is like 9.99 a year for a .com)

not tryna be biased but i love it cause i use it ;)

 
Bumping this. Work on my site has been kinda quiet for a month, but I'm still not decided what I want. God damnit. If only I could use the themes out before buying.
