Hey NS,

Currently in the process of purchasing a new tripod. I own a 60D as of now and I mainly shoot video, barely any photography. I've narrowed my choices down to three tripods, and my budget is anything under 900. The tripods are the Sachlter Ace, Sachlter fsb4, and the Manfrotto 501HDV Kit.

(Ace, 535 $)

(Fsb4 800 $)

(Manfrotto 501HDV Kit 550 $)

Any reviews of the tripods or advice is greatly appreciated! +K will be given

Hmm, i would say ace, only cause its cheaper..

But if you have the money and want it to use it for professional things and stuff i would say the FSB4..

this is shit advice if you really are serious about filming get the ace but if you have the extra $300 the fsb4 would be amazing...

Eh the Libec LS22 is OKAY. I'm not completely happy with it, but until I get more paid jobs, I'm sticking with it.

The LS38 is NOT meant for light DSLRs. It is for heavier cameras and doesn't have adjustable drag. blondie. has one so maybe talk to him about it.

I was considering the FSB4 and the ACE myself. Tripods are a pain in the ass because I always want to upgrade. I'm happy with a tripod at first, but then I realize its shortcomings.

If your budget is $900 tops, there is no beating the FSB4. The ACE is supposed to be nice for the price, but the FSB series is undeniably better. It's laughable that you even listed the 501 with the Sachtlers; it's shit.
