ps3 or xbox360?

i think in the long run ps3 will be better, but really idk so i want some input. ive had all playstations before, but i really dont care. i just want whats better.

and ya the only reason that i like 360 is cuz their live is dope. but i heard ps3 is better graphics and all. idk i need some info
 
my friend has ps2 and i played it once, it sucked. xbox 360 is what i have so i play stuff on that i just think overall its better...
 
i dont know a lot about it but HD dvd had a "battle" with bluray dvd's, as to which ones store like best buy should sell, and bluray won. so its knida the next thing in dvds, and they will start to amke bluray dvd players. i think if you care about things like this ps3 is where its at, but for game selection, and llive play xbox crushes ps3.
 
its like hi-deffinition, but instead of hddvd its bluray. and bluray is supposed to be better so now only bluray movies are being made and hddvd is kinda done with.
 
i didnt know it was all about what best buy was going to sell. does that mean that hddvd is still going to be made or not?
 
im pretty sure they stopped making them, and i was at bestbuy today and i saw no hd-dvd players, or hd-dvd's. and im like 99% bestbuy isnt selling them anymore.

I've owned both so here goes...

Bluray won. Load times on PS3 seem faster. More bang for your buck (last time I checked PS3 prices were better than Xbox 360). Better built machine and harware. Some peeps say graphics are better; maybe they are maybe they aren't, I can't really tell. Free online. Etc.

People say 360 has more games, but how many games are you going to buy anyways? The BEST games are almost all cross platform (COD4, Skate, GTA, etc). Even with exclusives, I think you'll find PS3 has a very solid line up. Online for PS3 is also pretty decent and it's FREE.

My number one reason to go PS3 would be durability. Within a month of getting my 360 it broke down. I got the infamous ''Red Ring of Death''. The Xbox is just a straight up badly built machine.

Still, I would get a Wii if I were you.
