Which skis??

I'm going to buy new skis for next season and I don't know which ones to buy.

It's between the:

Armada AR5 (04/05)

with Rossignol Scratch 140 bindings

and the

K2 Public Enemy (05/06)

with Marker M.12 Comp Free bindings

Now I'm wondering what y'all have to say about these models. What's good with them and what's bad?

I'll mostly going to use them in the park, but they should work well just cruising in the slopes.

Which one should I buy?

So it doesn't matter that the PE is new.

I've read alot that the AR5 is really sensitive for scratches, how sensitive are they?

I would really like some arguments why I should buy the AR5 and not the PE.

Not yet, but I'm planing to be more aggresive.

Why does y'all think that the AR5 is better then the PE?

the ar5 will better suit you for specifically the park; softer and more flexy.

my friend skies the PEs and likes them. he does a lot of all-round as well as park. bombproof ski he tells me though.

i use my AR5's on rails once in a while and they havent scratched too bad. edges are still in the same shape as when i bought em. they are awesome for park and just as good anywehre else.

I love my PE's but I won't ride marker bindings. Try to get some Looks from this season or even some salomons 900series

Okey now I'm 95% sure that I'll buy the AR5. How good is the Scratch 140 bindings? Is it a problem that the DIN-scale only goes to 10?

I'm thinking of maybe buy the Look 912 Lifter bindings? How are they?

I would go with the PE because scratch bindings break fairly easy if you have a huge crash. And plus marker a pretty good bindings they just dont get that much credit.

marker isn't that abd of a binding

the bindings ive got on my AR5's only go up to 10 and ive never had a problem with them. ive got em set at 9 and the only time they've released is when i eat shit really hard. they never release when i dont want em to. getting a binding that goes over 12 is dumb, unless you absolutly dont want your ski's to release ever.

there is no problem with marker bindings. just crank them down to 12 and you will be set. go for the pe's just because not taht many people have them. armadas are sick though too.

marker bindings are better than scratch, usually. the scratches do not pivot and are therfore rendered easy tobreak, and get hurt on.
